Dr. Nisha Malik, MD

Catastrophic error almost cost my baby his life. Upon going to my 20 week anatomy scan, Dr Malik & her ultrasound tech advised me that a portion of my baby’s brain appears to be absent-they couldn’t see it in the ultrasound. They offered termination & I told them no way, since I needed more information. This was followed by a very condescending “well, I respect your opinion”. (Mind you termination was brought up several times just from my mentioning this was an unplanned pregnancy. Somehow unplanned translates to unwanted in their minds) Upon researching this brain abnormality, mental disability was almost inevitable, & after days of emotional & psychological torment, I considered termination. One week, a fetal MRI, & countless tears later I went for a 2nd opinion ultrasound & the portion of the brain that was possibly absent was clear as day fully intact-I saw it clearly myself on ultrasound. The practitioner was wondering why I was even there for a second opinion. I almost ended my… pregnancy-my baby’s life, bc of their incompetence. That’s besides how rude and callous she is. Perhaps being MFM and not actually delivering babies has resulted in her complete lack of empathy and horrendous bedside manor.

She was great. Don’t know how she got so many bad reviews. Certainly not rude at all and makes sure she gets down to the root of any and all problems

I don’t normally see Dr Malik, but unfortunately I was on her schedule today. She was one of the rudest people i have ever met in my whole entire life and talks down to you. I said when I left, “you may wear your fancy lab coat, but that doesn’t make the rest of us idiots” if you’re forced to go to that office, do NOT let them put you with Malik.

Horrible doc, dirty office, go elsewhere

Dr. Malik is a very thorough and knowledgeable doctor. She takes her time with each patient. I had a high risk pregnancy which is a lot to deal with. Dr. Malik eased my mind and helped me during my pregnancy. She is kind and easy to talk to . It is a very very busy office so at times you need to wait, but it is completely worth the wait.
