Dr. York is very professional, easy to speak with, and is always willing to have good dialog and input for patient concerns. He is very laid back, down to earth, and overall a cool doctor! I recommend him to anyone who wants a doctor that they can trust to be honest, open, and has a positive attitude!

I don't like doctors, and for that reason I hadn't seen one in many years. When my wife started seeing Dr. York she told me that I needed to set up an appointment to see him as well. I'm glad I did. Dr. York is by far the best doctor I've ever seen. He takes the time to explain his diagnosis and answers any questions I have. He personally calls with any test results and makes sure you don't have any additional questions. He notified his patients that he will be moving to another office very soon, but even though that office is much further away I will still see Dr. York.

Was a patient of his for 5 years. Over those 5 years i saw a significant decrease in quality of bedside manner and knowledge. Extremely egotistical

He shows he cares about your health & well-being. Very knowledgeable & courteous.

I would Highly recommend Dr. York He is very caring and SUPPORTIVE. I have never had a Dr. take the time to call me personally even with the smallest of issues to talk to me. explains everything in terms that are easily understood.

I have been with Sedalia Medical Center for about 20 years now (July 2010) I needed a doctor from the Practice one Saturday morning and my regular Doctor Carroll was not in so I was directed to Nowell York. He spent an amazing amount of time with me for that I was grateful.. slow day and I was the benefactor of it. After several months maybe even over a year I went to him exclusively. I had been suffering with leg pain and he had me to go the ER for tests but He never found out what my pain was.. On my last visit to Dr York I said and I quote " you told me what it wasn't could you tell me what it is?" referring to my leg.. Apparently this offended him so much that I received a registered letter in the mail about 3 weeks after that visit stating I was DROPPED from the Practice.. I was shocked/angered/amazed that a DR could just what I believe is randomly do that.(I have to say also that he never gave me any indignation that there was a problem with what I said.) What I thought was going… to be a great Dr turned out to be in my opinion a very egotistic man that dare NOT be questioned. I never called to find out exactly why he did that probably because I was so upset over it.. I've never had this kind of treatment from anyone much less a professional so I am here stating that I do NOT give this man very high marks on his bedside manner. I have an email for anyone that has had this kind of experience I would be happy to hear from you.. I would really like to know if anyone else has had troubles with him like that.. thank you

I've seen a few dfferent doctors but I've never had a doctor who will personally call you with your test results. I've always had nurses call.Dr. York always calls you himself with any and all test results. He is a very good doctor....
