Dr. Pablo D Villafuerte, MD

I have never been a patient of this doctor. My husband is. My husband has struggled with a prescription drug abuse problem, off and on, for about ten years. He was prescribed Adderall by this doctor. He fills the prescription and also buys pills on the street. I don't understand how a doctor who is said to be so good, could not do more to find out the history of a patient. I understand that drug addicts are very good at lying to people to get what they want. I would suggest that Dr. Villafuerte look more into possible addictions of his patients some how. We have 3 very young children and one on the way, and I'm so afraid that my husband is going to die before they ever get a chance to know what a great person he once was.

There aren't many practicing psychiatrists left. This is a good one.

Dr. Villafuerte is a very genuine, personable and caring doctor. He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. He cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and understand. He has compassion for his patients. These traits are a rare find and I would recommend him 100%.

The difficulty of getting meds tweaked to what works best for you takes time. Dr. Villafuerte takes that time. He listens to the issues you are dealing with and offers great advice.I would say his best attributes as my doctor are kindness, caring, and an ability to balance the right meds to the patient.

He is a one of a kind. He absolutely cares about his patients and he listens to you without judging you.

I have found him to be very insightful, patient, forthcoming, intelligent and a good listener. He has come to conclusions other doctors have totally ignored without my prompting. I have found him to be amazing in diagnosis, since the first time meeting him. And I have been to others. Highly recommend. Finally, feel I found someone who knows what I am talking about.
