Dr. Praveen Kumar Roy, MD

Very caring physician. He took care of me in the hospital when I was airlifted to Anchorage for ERCP. He was promptly available and followed up with me daily in the hospital.

Dr. Roy has a very nice bedside manner and made me comfortable right away. The procedure was over before I knew it and he spoke with me before and after. The nurses were pleasant and efficient, explaining what they were doing and what to expect, and the anesthesiologist made sure I understood what was happening and what I would feel like afterwards. Front desk staff was informative and I was able to relax while waiting to be called, which was only about 2 minutes. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Praveen Roy is a gem! He is kind and compassionate. He takes the time to explain every aspect of the treatment necessary to remedy your situation. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to him for my gastro care!

Questions, listens, thinks! This is a caring physician. Very knowledgeable. Making an appointment is not easy due to organization's policies, not in the doctor's purview, but he will intervene if you are having extra problems. Also corresponds by email or phone. Expect an in-office wait because he gives as much time to each patient as is needed. Highly recommended.

Dr. Roy exemplifies the qualities which all physicians should have. Dr. Roy is so incredible taking the time to discuss the surgical procedure he is performing before the procedure and answering any questions or concerns. After the procedure he discusses his findings with the patient in person. If a referral is needed he undertakes the referral procedure and places a telephone call to the patient regarding his recommendations. HE IS EXTRAORDINARY! HE IS WONDERFUL!

Issues identified and treatment provided. difficult to make follow up visits,no openings for months and issues with signing my disability paper work.
