After months of excruciating back pain due to degenerative disc disease I developed deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolisms due to total inactivity. It was clear that spinal surgery was necessary at this point but I was told that it could not be done until the embolisms resolved. When I finally consulted Dr. Murali he promised that the problem would be resolved within two weeks and it was. His pulmonary colleague inserted a mesh so that the clots would be prevented from travelling and Dr. Murali performed surgery which was utterly successful. No pain!!!!
