Great doctor and staff

I had to wait for almost TWO hours to see Dr. Chandra. After waiting for TWO hours, he didn't even had the decency to apologize for being late and blamed his scheduler for overbooking him, which was NOT true. He spend less than 5 minutes with me and put me on 3 weeks of antibiotics, even though I had NO infections. Do NOT believe the reviews on the Vanderbilt website. They only post the best reviews. I DO NOT recommend him

Great surgeon. Terribly and inefficiently run office for follow ups. You will he asked to arrive 20 minutes before you appointment and will wait at least an hour after your appointment time to even get into a room. As a whole, they are incapable of seeing patients in anywhere close to a timely manner. We arrive at 2:30 for our first post op spot and did not get seen until 5:30. Arrived for post op visit number 2 at 3:40 and waited 2 hours to be seen. There is absolutely no respect for your time, your job or anything else you put on hold to come to the appointment.

I thought very highly of Dr.Chandra from the first appointment I had with him.I had sinus surgery to remove a sinus cyst,and before the surgery Dr.Chandra explained everything that was going to happen during the surgery.His bedside manner is excellent and every time I have a follow up visit Dr.Chandra will come in the room smiling and ask how I'm doing and talk with me about my job and everyday things.I had a biopsy from the cyst to make sure it wasn't anything more serious like cancer and when I went back for a follow up visit a week after surgery,Dr.Chandra came in the room and told me that the cyst wasnt cancerous and it was what is called a mucocele and he gave me the paper from the biopsy that also explained the results and findings.I am highly satisfied by the care I have received from Dr.Chandra, and would recommend him to my friends and family.

Seems knowledgable but had tad bit of an attitude. Appeared to be in a rush the entire time. For a $500 something office visit, I expected more!

Dr. Chandra performed sinus surgery to remove a mucosele the size of 3 golf balls from my left sinus cavity and the surgery could not have gone any smoother. Follow up visits were a breeze and I always fel like I selected the right doctor for the procedure. i highly recommend him!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Dr. Chandra, his physician assistant (Elizabeth), and my Northwestern experience in general. For a long time I have had sinus problems and a very deviated septum but never wanted to have it taken care of. After my first visit with Dr. Chandra, I knew I was in excellent hands.The visit started with an overview of my symptoms and medical history with a physician assistant Elizabeth who could not have been kinder or more professional. The wait time I experienced was next to none. After my overview with Elizabeth I met with Dr. Chandra. The competency, professionalism and bed side manner exhibited by Dr. Chandra and Elizabeth greatly surpasses any other medical practice by far. The in office technology available is incredible. I had a nasal endoscopy done, and was able to see what the physician was referring to on a high definition monitor attached to the endoscope. After that, I was taken to another room where they had a CT scanner… to show in depth the problems I was having with my septum and sinuses. His diagnosis was spot on and I really appreciated the time that was spent answering any questions I had, as well as discussing what my treatment options were. It became evident that my sinus/septum issues would need surgery to repair. The surgical scheduling process was a breeze. The information given to me by the surgical schedulers was excellent and very informative. From pre-op to post-op, the process went perfectly and I could not have been more satisfied with the process and the results.If you are looking for a superlative surgeon/staff offering top tier treatment look no further.

I recently saw Dr. Chandra regarding having a tonsillectomy. The procedure was very quick and thorough. I was impressed by his entire team. The week following by surgery was awful (obviously not his fault) but I did not have any complications. He was basically unreachable over the weekend so we had to speak to the on-call resident. Overall he has been very thorough and quick to see me when necessary. I would recommend him to others.

He was very attentive and knowlegable. He has trained and worked in some of the world's best colleges and hospitals. The nurses say he is one of the better surgeons on the staff.
