Dr. James Owens Fordice, MD

I have a chronic cough and have been to many many doctors without any results. I went to an allergist that sent me to Dr. Fordice and he obviously had read my file and and gave me a new med that is helping my chronic cough without suggesting a slew of tests that I had had many times. Med is not 100% cure but helps greatly. Afterword, (wondering about it since it is not a standard treatment for cough) I did some research of my own and discovered that it was a relatively new treatment that is working in some patients so apparently he does keep up with his medical field! I was impressed the first visit and was convinced it was a Godsend (as I had prayed before he entered the room!) I told him he was a genius in my book! (Who had a little help maybe from Above as well) As all doctors are, he was a bit brisk and rushed second visit but to be expected of any doctor with the stresses they have. Third visit I felt like I was listened to…no complaints.

Went to see dr. Fordice for a deviated septum. After looking at my nose he took it upon himself to check my ears. Didn’t even ask and I have no problems with my ears. He then went on to remove wax. A month later found out he charged $220 for the wax removal. I also had to wait 40 min after my scheduled appointment to see him. Save yourself the time and money.

4 y/o grand daughter taken to Dr. Fordice's office for heavy nose bleeds. We were told he is a pediatirc ENT, however, his actions made us think otherwise. How many 4 year olds do you know would lay still and let a doctor insert an instrument up their nose? Very few, I assure you. Dr. Fordice would not have her held down to examine her nose, the very reason she was taken there! Her mother even offerred to help hold her. He would not examine her nose because she" would not cooperate!!!" A waste of time and a waste of 75.00 co pay!!

Dr. Fordice did an exceptional job of finding and removing my parathyroid tumor. He is very professional, informative, and a downright likable doctor. Both Dr. Fordice and his staff are the best you can find!
