Dr. Ray F Aronowitz, MD

I found Dr. Aronowitz knowledgeable, experienced and personable. His treatment and surgical skills are excellent.

It took forever to get a response to have pain meds refilled after hip replacement surgery. I am 73 years old, hardly apt to become a dope head. When I went for checkup I felt like one of a herd of cattle. Hardly any time spent with me. The Dr did not even look at the incision. Anyway it has been 8 weeks since surgery and I will not use this Dr again.

Dr. Aronowitz performed my AMAZING hip surgery. Highly intelligent, superb surgical skills, caring and compassionate.

Dr. Aronowitz was pleasant, but not warm and fuzzy by any means. He's fast. I think he spent a total of 10 minutes with me? In that time he was courteous, no-nonsense and seemed to know his stuff. He came in, did the exam of my knee, told me what's wrong and asked if I prefer to look up exercises to do on the internet or a prescription for physical therapy. I didn't trust my ability to find and perform the proper exercises correctly without any instruction, so I said I'd prefer the therapy. He prescribed 2-3 weeks, then I was to do the exercises at home. However, the physical therapist had machines and methods I couldn't duplicate at home, so when my 3 weeks ran out, that was it. In Dr. Aronowitz's defense, he was not contacted for an extension of therapy.

I need some rather serioius surgery, he diagnosed it right away......I was very surprised but have done research and know he is absolutely correct. And I trust him to the point that I will allow him to to the surgery.
