Dr. Reid Chambers Harrison, MD

Absolutely the best

I have been seeing Dr. Harrison and his staff for more than 10 years. He has always shown me tremendous caring and I feel that he legitimately cares about me as his patient. He has never made me feel like a number or a dollar amount. He has always given me the time I deserved and I genuinely thank him and his staff for the caring that they have done.

My wife and I have been under Dr. Harrison's care since 2006. We are the luckiest people on the Earth to have found our way to his practice! He is not only a highly respected professional, but he has assembled the most phenomenal team of MD Extenders, Nurses and staff that will take care of anything and everything that we need! Thank you, Dr. Harrison and Team!!

Five years I have been having various issues which recently seem to have come to a sort of breaking point. Five years of seeing other doctors in which I have been told its stress, its anxiety, you need to step back, slow down or its all in your head, etc. Not to be too critical of those I have seen in the past because it is not as simple as just their attitude or skill but more likely very relevant to their environment or employer. Finally, Dr. Harrison, a doctor who not only listens and cares but perhaps more importantly "wants to know". This doctor is so good I would give him 6 stars because, while doing what a doctor should do, he seems to go above and beyond what others do. Someone willing to fight and push for a test to eliminate a cause. To whittle down the possibilities and not simply write something off as "the norm". I have been considering moving and Harrison is actually one of the variables I have listed as a reason not to relocate. I simply do not want to try and find… another doctor of this, calibre. I am unable to truly give five stars on a diagnosis because at this time the nature of my illness is not known for a certainty but the level of effort and communication involved has been superb. Some issues have been identified which explain some symptoms and those within two weeks with a simple MRI which he fought to have done. I feel vindicated, if you will, by the results because I have known something really was wrong with me and this proved it. I think if had I seen those I have in the past I would still be at square one. Now there is some direction and momentum behind this diagnosis. Harrison is why there is momentum. This is why I gave this rating five stars. Everything else on the list is at least five. He listens, is easy to talk to, very logical and direct, does not hold back nor assume "par for the course". I am not sure what else you could ask for in a doctor.

great doctor listens well and works with me to get better

I love Dr. Harrison, he saw my daughter in the hospital and we followed him from there. He is patient, practical, and he is a parent himself. The only thing I strongly dislike about the office is the quality of some of the staff members. I'm not one to complain normally, BUT they seem to treat us like we are inconveniencing them by being in the office. This is from the front desk to the nurse that has given our daughter shots. But like I said, the Dr. is wonderful!

We were very pleased with this doctor, but we moved out of state.
