Dr. Bernstein is outstanding! He did surgery on each of my wrists - one I broke (and needed a plate to repair it) and the other I had arthritis and a ruptured tendon. Both surgeries went very well - wrists are 100%. Not only is Dr. Bernstein a skilled surgeon, he is caring, compassionate, and he listens. I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein!!

Hopefully you never need hand surgery, but if you do, don’t hesitate to see Dr. Bernstein. I met Dr. Bernstein about 20 years ago after my wife broke her wrist and required a plate. He talked us through the entire procedure, answered all of our questions. The surgery went well and just as importantly, the physical therapy that followed was equally well attended to. A few years later when I needed carpal tunnel surgery, I knew who to see. Again, process went smoothly with great results. Recently, I injured my thumb skiing, tearing a ligament, Dr. Bernstein explained what happened and what the options were. Had the surgery and PT, and have recovered well. Dr. Bernstein is a consummate professional who demonstrates empathy and concern for his patients.

Dr. Bernstein did not rush a diagnosis but tested my wrist over a few months. He also sent me to a neurologist to verify the results. The carpal tunnel surgery went well, and recovery was as he explained to me. I was very happy with the results.

I suffered with Trigger Thumb on my dominant hand for a year. I am an art teacher and teach pottery etc. I teach 500 elementary students how to create pinch pots by using my thumb. It's my bread and butter. Dr. Bernstein, explained the procedures with clarity and compassion. The first shot worked a bit, the second shot worked great! I was so nervous! He was so calm, and understanding and addressed not only my physical needs but also emotional needs as well. After awhile of intense use of my thumb back at school; it started to lock up again and became very painful. Now it was time for wide awake surgery! Wow! It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Dr. Bernstein, and his amazing staff were absolutely wonderful. It is 8 weeks out and after following all his verbal and written instructions, and committing to the physical therapy; I'm fixed! I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein. He has a great sense of humor too; which is exactly what an anxious person like me needed.

Dr. Bernstein was kind and professional. He answered all of my questions. I was in pain and could note close my hand. After the injection, the healing process was exactly as he had explained. I am now pain free and can close my hand with strength. Dr. Bernstein is the best!
