We just moved to the area. My son is seeing a specialist that referred us to Dr. Daniel for our new pediatrician. My son has also recently been exhibiting signs of autism spectrum disorder, or some other sensory issue. It only comes out when he is nervous or feels under pressure. All of the area autism specialty clinics at the area hospitals for diagnosis and therapies state very clearly on their web sites that they need a pediatrician referral to get an appointment (I can provide links as proof). I decided to do his well child visit a little early, and implore Dr Daniel for said referral. My son did relatively well for the nurse.. a bit of nervous behavior, but she rolled with it. The second Dr. Daniel walked in, though, my sons nerves went into overdrive. The first words out of Dr. Daniel's mouth was to make a point with raised eyebrow that I do not have the same last name as my son. From there, my son's nerves got even higher. The rest of the appointment was Dr. Daniel… shaming me, cutting me off and calling me wrong with extremely annoyed body language at everything I said -- even when I was repeating things said to me by a doctor that he knows and respects. He refused to even examine my son. He ABSOLUTELY acknowledged that my son was having issues, but demanded that I would not need his referral to have him assessed or treated. He told me (this is a quote) "I don't know what therapy is. He needs to see a psychiatrist and he needs to be put on drugs." And he pretty much kicked us out of his office with absolutely no exam or referral for an assessment at an autism specialty clinic at all. Biggest, rudest waste of a well child insurance claim ever.

THE BEST PEDIATRICS DR AND STAFF EVER!

He was caring and gentle, my son always felt comfortable in the office. He listened, he asked questions, and answered your questions. If it wasn't something to worry about he explained why and gave you as much information as possible. If there was a concern he followed up. If we didn't move out of state I would still take my children there. I've never felt so comfortable around a Dr. I wish I could find another practice like this one out here for my kids.

My 2 and 5 year olds constantly talk about Dr. Daniel. They love him.

Although I truly believe Dr. Daniel is probably a wonderful person & dr I have never been able to get my children in to see him. He is the on call doctor when my Pedi is off. I've tried three times over the past year to get my toddler in to see him and the front office staff just tell me it's not urgent watch your child and call my doctor in the morning. This is extremely frustrating. Being a nurse myself I know this is not acceptable.

there are a couple of things which would prevent me to keep him as my son's ped. 1) his office is closed on wednesday - like completely closed, not even nurse is avaialable. So my son was running on high fever and had some tests run on tuesday and there was no where i could get the results. Had the meds been prescribed on time, it would have saved one day of suffering . 2) Staff is pretty non-courteous and non -friendly for a ped's office.

Dr. Daniel is one of the best doctors I ever seen.

Dr. Daniel has cared for all three of our kids, and the oldest is 23 so we've had him for many years. He also treats my niece and nephew. He is kind, very thorough and extremely professional. He once noticed a slight heart murmur in our son when he was an infant and immediately referred us to a specialist. Fortunately all was well, and she complimented his acute ability to even detect the murmur. Dr. Daniel spends time with and truly cares about his patients. I recommend him highly.
