Dr. Richard Jerome Kennedy, MD

Dr. Richard Kennedy is no longer the doctor he used to be. Previously, he was gracious and would follow up and take care of your needs. However, in the past year he has become aggressive and incompetent with his ability to practice medicine. Over the course of 6 months he has become non responsive, will not refill medication or if he does, will do so over a weekend. With that being said, if he does call to inform you about a health concern or prescription question, he speaks over you and is very defensive. Furthermore, he has made misdiagnoses and referrals to other specialties/practices that are not needed or for the reason you visited him. if you inquire as to why he made a certain diagnosis he becomes very hostile and defensive. There is no explanation to this and truly he bears a responsibility to communicate his diagnosis to his patients and especially if he was the doctor that has been managing my medication. He is no longer helpful or has the capacity to care for his… patients like he used to. He lacks compassion, competency and professional decorum with practicing medicine. It’s very disappointing to have experienced this. I would not recommend Dr. Richard Kennedy and would tell current patients to seek another primary care physician elsewhere. To have been a patient of the practice for a decade plus and to have been mistreated, misdiagnosed and without care during a pandemic is unethical.

What can I say Dr. Richard Kennedy has been my doctor for a few years and I wouldn't change him for anything in the world he's a great physician professional makes me feel safe and notifies me of any test results done the same day he calls me he talks to me and he explains to me thoroughly I love my doctor.

Dr. Kennedy is terrific! He listens, is very patient and has an excellent bed side manner. He goes the extra mile for his patients which I really appreciate. I highly recommend him and his staff is very professional and amazing. I'm glad I found him.

Dr. Kennedy has seen our family through life threating illnesses with great skill. He also is great at regular preventive care. His has wonderful skill in finding exactly what is wrong and how to care for it. His recommendation to other doctors are always good. When several other doctors are involved in a patient's care, he acts as Captain of the ship being in touch with them all. He is very caring and has a good sense of humor when the time is right. His office and staff are the best. We can't say enough good things about Dr. Kennedy!
