Youd be hard pressed to find a Psychiatrist ANYWHERE that's as professional, kind, considerate, compassionate and skilled. Top notch in every capacity and a true blessing as a health provider.

Just gets people in and out like cattle. Doesn’t care about his patients at all, asks me the same questions every time I come in because he forgets because he isn’t even listening in the first place. So unprofessional. Do not go to him unless you just want to get drugs easily

My whole life was a roller coaster ride; ups and downs of moods which finally led to the end of my 23 year marriage; I tried to commit suicide which resulted in me being hospitalized. The psychiatrists I saw there just prescribed all kinds of drugs but when I went home, I was lost. Desperate to find help, my insurance gave me a referral to Dr. Kumar. That was the brighest spot in my life! The day I saw him I was hysterically crying and told him I wanted to die. He put me in another hospital but reassured me that he would see me there the next morning. I was so scared but sure enough, 6:30 AM the next day, he was there! He gave me the correct diagnoses and I have been seeing him for 3 years. He has truly saved my life! He is compassionate, understanding, always available, YES, he answers his cell phone and overall a great doctor.

Dr. Kumar is a totally amazing psychiatrist who treats both of my children and myself. My oder son has bipolar disorder and has been hospitalized in and out of the state. Dr. Kumar was ecellent with the admission process, following his inpatient stay, and treating him again as an outpatient. Dr. Kumar is extremely knowlegable and has expertise in all areas. I highly recommend him for children and adults.

I know several of Dr. Kumar's patients as well as being one myself. The initial dread of and reluctance to discussing personal problems with someone quickly passed during the first visit. He is very thorough and very careful, and very clear as to what your diagnosis and course of treatment will be. He has been a life saver, literally.
