Dr. Robert Martin Marcus, MD

I saw Dr Marcus for initial consultation yesterday for presumed PMR (polymyalgia rheumatica). I was impressed with his knowledge, "bedside manner" and is staff. I'm so happy my neighbor recommended him and even more delighted that he hasn't retired yet. I will continue to see him as long as he is practicing.

Always a pleasure to work with Dr. Marcus, his nurses and the entire staff!

Dr. Marcus is top-notch. He is empathetic, a great listener, and very adept at eliciting the necessary patient info in order to make a diagnosis or provide next steps.

I made an appointment for a physical with Dr. Marcus. I arrived at the requested time 30 minutes early to complete paper work. I should have been suspicious when the paper work asked absolutely no medical questions (only questions about who would pay the bill if insurance did not come across). When I submitted the paperwork, the office told me than Dr. Marcus "did not do physicals or blood work". When I asked why they thought I was here, they said they did not know. Amazingly, they still asked if I wanted to see the doctor. I said I was sure he was a nice man but did not know what I would talk to him about. At that they said I could leave and I did - stunned and amazed!!
