Dr. Prestiano has a lot of experience giving the same advice over and over again. He has done very little to expand his approach and was very dismissive when I asked to be be tested for SIBO following my colonoscopy since it showed no issues. When I asked if I should be on a different diet because I had emergency gall bladder surgery, he said I was being crazy and the loss of my gall bladder didn’t matter. When I asked what to do about my symptoms now that all of his tests were negative, he said I was just stressed and should take yoga. OK. Then one of his nurses took me aside and explained some of the dietary changes I should make and suggested another doctor. He’s also quite sarcastic. The next doctor diagnosed me with SIBO and offered proper treatment. Save your time and avoid this guy.

GREAT DOCTOR… HORRENDOUS staff (with a few exceptions). I have seen this doctor for decades (before Optum and Caremount). NEVER had an issue, LOVED his old staff. I have never been spoken to so nastily after (attempting ) to explain to them the issue I was having, and furthermore, that I 100% understood what they were trying to convey to me. However I was talked/yelled over and basically run out the door. Dr Prestiano is (and always has been) a phenomenal Doctor. Which is literally the only reason my entire family still see’s him after all these decades.

This Dr is unprofessional, chauvinistic; and I truly believe he has a psychological problem. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review but He cut me off when asked a simple question and then reprimanded me like I was a child. I was shocked by his reprehensible, nasty outburst. AVOID HIM.

Dr. Prestiano is a great primary and gastroenteritis doctor. It's great to have him as my primary to depend on.

Great personality. Explained procedure in consult visit. Puts you at ease tells you clearly what he found during procedure. Nurses were so friendly. Got follow up call next day. Highly recommend

dr is okay never there hrs are horrible and is closed wednesdays and short hrs on fridays. dr has pa on thursdays only.my problem is if i have an emergency he is not available this is crazy as a doctor you need to be more flexible.the doctor needs more hrs more help and a better personality
