Dr. Roberto Omar Salcedo, MD

Dr. Salcedo has been so kind to me, I can say nothing but good things about him. He asks all pertinent questions and also gives me time to ask questions and answers anything I want to know. He takes his time with my husband and myself. He is very caring and easy to talk to. He is warm and compassionate. I am shocked about the people who have unkind words about him. It is like we are describing two different doctors. I hope he does not retire for a long time. Dr. Salcedo has worked very closely with my neurosurgeon. It was good to have that connection. Dr. Salcedo prescribed medicine to control my seizures and told me if I took them as prescribed I would not have another seizure, and he has been absolutely right. I have not one seizure since I began going to Dr. Salcedo. He is very knowledgeable.

The doctor explained everything very well. His positive attitude was great. It was an uncomfortable test but he talked me through it.

I came in with what was to me was a serious complaint. He never looked at or asked me what kind of symptoms I was experiencing. He laughed at me and told me if I had MS that he was pregnant. He said this three times. He was rude. I don't believe or trust his diagnosis. Won't go back to him or recommend him.

He was nasty. He told me that he knew what was wrong with me and didn't need to do an exam. He berated me for 45 minutes. I had a witness. I've spoken with someone else who saw him and he did the same thing to her. Disrespectful and a horrible doctor. should not practice.

I heard so many good things about him that I didn't even mind waiting over an hour in the waiting room. Then he came in the exam room. He checked my reflexes (that was the total exam) diagnosed me with fibro and told me I needed a therapist. He even had the nerve to mock me. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but I will never go back. The one good thing to come out of this is that I went to a large hospital specialist and found out that I have 3 severely herniated discs that are impinging on my nerves. Perhaps he needs the therapist.

Dr. Salcedo is more than a doctor. He is compassionate, kind, and listens to your every word. Then he adds a special bed-side manner and makes suggestions to help you with your situation. He did in my case and I am forever "GRATEFUL"

I have been seeing Dr. Salcedo for about 5 years now for MS. I was diagnosed with MS in 1999 while living in Columbus, Ohio. Since that time much has happened in life and I have gone through quite a few doctors. I will not stay with a doctor unless they are attentive and knowledgeable. Dr. Salcedo is all this and much more. He is extremely intelligent and interested in helping me as an individual. He may run late at times but I don't mind because I know that he will never rush through my appointment time trying to catch up. He always takes the time each person needs and that would never change. He CARES about his patients and wants to improve their lives. I am so pleased to have him caring for me!
