Excellent physician, very caring, clinically excellent, Very accessible

I really like Dr. Payne and let me confess that I've got pretty high standards. She is warm and obviously a kind person; very 'real' and easy to talk to. I feel very comfortable calling her office with any medical concerns and they get back to me right away. For this recent visit I had a small concern which was taken very seriously and I felt completely taken care of.

Dr Payne is caring, compassionate and a great listener. She is very thorough and works hard to get to the bottom of any concerns I have. I’m very appreciative of her great staff as well. I never feel rushed during appointments because she takes plenty of time for me. I am very pleased with the care I receive from Dr Payne and her staff.

I had my most recent physical with Dr. Payne in June. The visit was cursory at best. I have been seen for flu symptoms longer than this annual physical. Not too long ago I had a severe ankle sprain which, I was told by my orthopedist, should have necessitated a "boot." Dr. Payne's only advice upon examining my sprain was that I should wear sneakers. As a result, I had eight weeks of physical therapy, and my ankle is still not "right." I have lost all confidence in this physician. She seems distracted and the level of care is not what one expects in a larger city like Nashville.
