Dr. Ryan Eric Gursky, DO

It did take a while to get an appt but I suppose he is a very busy dr. A handful of the nurses at st Francis told us that he had done their knee surgeries as well. Once we were in the exam room he was quite thorough and I Felt as if I were the only patient he had that day. He is a compassionate guy with great bedside manner. The right amount of friendliness and seriousness. He ran right on time when it came to surgery and made sure to touch base with the wife following the procedure. Can’t think of anything negative to say about him. It was a very positive experience.

Wonderful Doctor

Dr Gursky REALLY messed my knee up after trying to do a knee replacement! After SEVERAL months of rehab and him performing SEVERAL surgeries to try and fix the problem, I ended up having to find ANOTHER Dr take on my case but that Dr finally fixed me knee for me and I can now walk without a limo and pain free after extensive surgery! I would NEVER recommend Dr Gursky!

I had my knee surgery in Oct. of 2017 and the care I received before, during and after was effective and professional. I had had knee surgery before (with a different doctor) and was in pain for 5 years BUT THIS time I was put in a special program right after surgery, provided great instruction and you got to know the staff that I would be working with during my recovery. Everyone was so friendly, you felt like you were part of a family that cared.I am pain free and am ready to do my other knee now!

2nd knee replacement by Dr. Gursky. This time with new Program @ St. Francis. Recovery 2X as good, in 1/2 the normal time. Amazing tea. PreOp, Op, PostOp, Therapy, Home Health. EVERY single staff member were so skilled and compassionate!! Gursky's manner and skill are nothing short of amazing!

Dr Gursky was very kind, explained the problem and need for surgery. Follow up went well and he even worked me in for a post op issue.

Dr. Gursky did a wonderful job fixing my knee problem. After surgery I didn't even feel any pain. I think I took 2 pain pills because I didn't want to have the pain get out of control. The next day I got a call from his office to make sure I was OK and then I went to the follow up appointment and haven't had any problems since then. I have recommended him to other people and they were also pleased.

Dr Gursky is very confident and competent. Though we had never met I was sure from the from first meeting that I was in good hands. His entire team was equally first rate. Thank you Team Gursky.

I went to see Dr Gursky for a long-term hip trauma injury that I've had on-an-off trouble with for about 7 years. I do a lot of compound lifting and was worried after a workout that I'd re-injured/worsened it. After getting an x-ray and MRI, I was completely freaked out from the radiologist assessing complete cartilage loss in the joint. Dr Gursky COMPLETELY reversed that fear after asking me questions about the injury and doing some mobility checks on my joint. He wasn't afraid to, in a very professional way, contradict the radiologist's findings, reassuring me that there was absolutely not complete cartilage loss. He was extremely reassuring about the health of my hip and said that there was no need at all for surgery. I got some very practical exercise advice from him and walked away elated. Just the fact that, as an orthopedic surgeon, he recommended AGAINST surgery makes him extremely credible to me. Any future joint issues I have will definitely go to him.
