My mom (90 years old) has been treated by Dr. Loporchio for a few years and her vision has improved tremendously. He is knowledgeable, highly skilled and has a way about him that inspires confidence. From our perspective, Dr. Loporchio's practice runs efficiently and every visit has been positive.

Cancels appointments 2 hours before due to not having medicine in their office. Never returns phone calls. Very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time like I did. Time to find another Doctor.

I was virtually blind in my left eye due to a massive infection in the vitreous. Dr. Loportio met me at the hospital right away and was able to save my eye. He is a very brilliant and kind doctor. I highly recommend him for anyone with retinal or other inner eye problems.

Even before I needed Dr. Loporchio, my colleagues told me about him and his name was in my address book. My corneal surgeon called Dr. Loporchio because I was suddenly completely blind in one eye due to a massive infection of the vitreous. Dr. Loporchio took me in right away. As soon as he examined the eye, he IMMEDIATELY sent me to RI Hospital where he operated on the eye within the hour. HE SAVED MY VISION! PS He closed his office to rush to the hospital, but every patient was seen later that day. PPS You could not find a kinder or more personable doctor.

Had to see on an emergency basis for first visit. He waited in office for me to arrive. No other retinal specialist would do that during my crisis.
