Dr. Sandra Elise Glasson, MD

I went to Dr. Glasson when my son re-broke his arm for the second time within a few months, in two places. her bedside manner from the beginning was as if we were less important to have an actual conversation about my son...she truly acted like she could care less....she is completely scattered brained, doesn't review patient charts before she visits the room, to know who she is visiting... we actually went toe to toe during one of the later visits because i called her out on her lack of compassion and/or care she had.

I went and saw Glasson last year to have my left knee scoped. No problems. They did tell me that my right knee was worse than my left. After they scoped the left knee they wanted to do 5 shots in the knee after I completed physical therapy. Now I just saw my doctor again and she is sending me back to Glasson to have my right knee scoped. I hope it goes as good as the first time.

i went to dr glasson for a second opinion to confirm or deny a previous diagnosis from my regular orthopedic surgeon. after waiting over an hour and x rays she told me she did not see anything wrong with me. she acknowledged the bone spurs on my knee from the x rays,but noted that it was not the cause of my pain.after experiencing pain from manipulating my knee,she said in effect that there was nothing wrong but offered me a cortisone shot in my knee which i declined. she sat there stone faced when i asked then why am i experiencing such pain. ver poor bedside manners.would not recommend.

I went to Dr Glasson for a Bakers cyst that simply needed to be drained. My Rheumatologist recommeded an orthopedic specialist for this simple procedure. During my visit Dr Glasson insisted on surgery to repair a meniscus as she explained draining the bakers cyst would simple return. This is not true as I had a Bakers cyst over 20 years ago and my Rheumatologist who since retired drained it. Dr Glasson continued to insist on an unnecessary surgery. She was with me for ten minutes, they took ex-rays and then had the nerve to charge me $400 for the visit. To make the experience even worse, she sent me to "her" physical therapy office next door where a young girl tried to fit me with an off the shelf brace. The brace was so big and bulky, it did not fit. The young girl said "you are so small, however this is the smallest brace I have". To make the experience even worse, the money hungry Dr Glasson had the nerve to tell me the brace was $950 !!Of course I did not buy it. Go elsewhere for… your orthopedic needs. My primary care doctor is researching a doctor that can drain my bakers cyst, I should hear from him today or tomorrow.

I went to see Dr Glasson last fall. I never actually saw Dr. Glasson, I saw her PA. The took an x-ray, and without ever getting examined by the doctor, the recommendation was that I should get "scoped". I was told this by a receptionist while sitting in the waiting area while she tried to explain to me why they had cancelled my appointment without telling me. I had driven almost an hour round trip to the Dam Neck office to be told they cancelled my appointment, but the doctor had decided I needed to be cut, without ever seeing me. I don't think so. Seems like she has a system, and the patients are part of the system, not treated as individuals. No thanks.

Very attentive staff, from office to xray to PA that performed my casting. Very good staff.

Dr. Glasson was very kind and knowledgeable. She performed an ACL revision reconstruction along with a meniscus repair. Dr. Glasson took time during surgery to make sure everything was performed well. This was my second ACL recontruction, and the recovery so far is astoundingly much better. Dr. Glasson uses a three day nerve block, which severely reduces the pain. I am able to lift my leg the same day, and it took me five days after my first ACL surgery. I am able to eat, unlike last time, and she put an anti-nausea patch on me so I would not feel at all nauseas. I would highly recommend Dr. Glasson. She has a great resume, even traveling as a physician with Team USA to Olympic games and with the US women's national soccer team.

worst doctor I have ever seen, if she is not getting paid she don't care about you.
