I had a medical emergency with my hearing. The office was able to get me into the office quickly. I saw Dr. Kay frequently for this issue. He was knowledgable, as well as open to my suggestions, without having an ego. I really appreciated that. It made a very stressful experience feel supported. I was in good hands with him and his staff.

I had surgery performed by Dr. Kay last year to remove benign tumors. Although he did not have the best “bedside manner”, he was very knowledgeable and experienced and thus, I tolerated the lack of professionalism that I would expect from a physician. However at my follow-up visits, I felt he was completely dismissive and condescending to the point of rudeness. He actually rolled his eyes at my last follow-up visit after indicating he ‘felt something’ and I stated that I would prefer to have a scan rather than follow his recommendation of monitoring the area of concern and just to return in 6 months. Well that was enough…I went to another doctor. I had a scan and my new doctor reviewed my scan with me and addressed all my concerns with the highest degree of professionalism, understanding and compassion.

I went to Dr. Kay due to trouble breathing at night due to a deviated septum (for real) but ultimately decided to get the enhancement as I like to call it (a.k.a. nose job) done as well. Dr. Kay did an amazing job with both--I can now breathe better & my nose looks cuter, making me look more youthful as well. I highly recommend him and his warm, friendly & competent staff. A+

He's a lot better than people are saying here, yes medicine is expensive, wait til your deductible is paid if that helps. Had nose surgery went very well.

Fine doctor and surgeon. Not a warm personality but I don't care, I'm not having drinks or dinner with him. Strong and able, no nonsense. Gets it. I will never understand bad reviews based on 'he was rude to my daughter.' Probably means he put sensible controls on behavior.

I am surprised by the number of bad reviews. Not sure what people are expecting or where they usually go for medical attention with smiles and apologies. Maybe they spend too much time at the pediatrician. Dr Kay is a surgeon - he is highly skilled at surgical solutions. I came to his practice with a complicated set of nasal problems that he surgically corrected. I was referred to him from another patient who went to Dr Kay for a surgical solution. He can be a little aloof, but I always found him to be professional. When people are complaining he is looking at his computer, he is looking at the electronic health record system - looking at the patent's records and trying to figure out a diagnosis / solution.

I had to wait for over an hour in the waiting room. I was there for a simple sinus infection and ended up getting billed for almost $500.$350 of that was billed as a surgery when all be did was stick a metal tube up my nose to see where the infection was. It's a disgrace that the insurance co. allowed him to Bill that much for practically nothing.I will not go back to a jerk like him again.

Dr. Kay was patient, caring and attentive to my concerns and solved the issues I came to him with in an efficient, respectful and professional manner.

My experience with Dr. Scott Kay was excellent! My Primary Care Doctor highly recommended that I see Dr. Kay and she was right! Dr. Kay diagnosed and treated an ENT issue that had been plaguing me for 4 months! Multiple specialists, an MRI and a Cat Scan couldn't identity the problem, but Dr. Kay discovered it within minutes using his equipment and well trained eye. He gave me a generous amount of time and attention. His assistant, his hearing specialist and his receptionist each were patient and accommodating. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Kay and his Practice.

Dr. Scott Kay is an excellent ear, nose and throat doctor. He is highly professional, exceptionally skilled and I always feel confident when I need to see him. The staff is friendly and the waiting room is comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend Dr. Kay to anyone who has ear, nose and throat issues as well as allergy problems.
