Dr. Seema Kumari Sharma, MD

Dr. Sharma delivered my son 3 years ago and she was horrible. I almost died and required a procedure a month afterwards that I had to beg to even be seen for. She was too busy to be bothered, could not remember who I was any time I saw her, prescribed me the wrong dose of medication and completely mismanaged the whole thing. I am now unable to carry a second child. I am convinced things would have been different if I had a different doctor who actually paid attention. She should not be able to practice medicine. Please stay away

Dr. Sharma was very attentive and made me feel at ease. I was nervous about my appointment but had no reason to be. She listened to any concerns I had and made sure I left with no questions. Will definitely be going back!

Dr. Sharma was my delivering doctor at Greenwich Hospital. Prior to delivery, I had seen her in the Rye office a number of times for my prenatal appointments, and found her to be informative and caring. She always made sure my questions were answered. When I went into labor, I was so happy that she was the delivering doctor. She was calm and supportive and made sure that mom and baby were healthy and our wishes were met. I'm so grateful to have had her as my doctor!

Inattentive, neglectful and forgetful. Pass!

Although pleasant during appointments, she gets my prescription wrong every single time. Not once has she sent it in correctly and I have been seeing her for at least 4 years (hence why I've finally switched). Not very personable.

Dr. Sharma has been my doctor for the past 10 years. She patiently guided us through two high risk pregnancies and was always available to answer our most mundane, numerous inquiries. As my Obgyn, Dr. Sharma has guided me through numerous health related issues. Dr Sharma is a patient centered physician and puts her patients needs and interest first. I highly recommended Dr. Sharma.

Dr. Sharma is part of the practice at Westmed that my regular OBGYN is part of. She delivered my second baby after a fairly long induction. She was patient, kind, and made it easier for me not to tear much, and her stitching of the tear did the trick. She actually did some perineal massage to help get the baby out with less tearing, and I SO appreciated that. I highly recommend her based on her care in that delivery.

1 day of pregnancy vs. 1 day stomach virus? I'll take the stomach bug. During my pregnancy a few years ago, I asked Dr. Sharma about a prescription for Diclegis for nausea and she wasn't familiar with it. She didn't see it on her prescription list. That would have been that, but my husband was there, so he did a search on his smart phone and told her what the drug was. She said Diclegis was just 2 over the counter drugs. And that was that. I was too fuzzy-headed and nauseous to ask follow up questions, like, "What dosage?" or "How often?" or "Can you please figure out how to get me a prescription for Diclegis... please?" As a patient, I felt as though I was a nuisance to her. Doctor Sharma was much friendlier to me during appointments when I didn't share my health concerns with her. I tried to see other doctors in the practice instead. Eventually, I found a different and wonderful OBGYN.

Dr Sharma is professional, caring, and incredibly dedicated to my well being. Highly Recommend!

Terrible bedside manner. And after reading the other two reviews, seems like maybe she only treats patients she likes with care. Not proffesional at all. I had post op complications w my incision and she was slamming doors and snapping at me as if it was my fault ( it wasn't- puss was coming out and after googling I read that some patients who thro any kind of surgery get this condition). Never going back there ever again.
