After many years of research on reversals, finding Dr. Marks was a huge sigh of relief. With my husband having had a vasectomy 23 years ago, it was great knowing Dr. Marks had a patient with 42 years from vasectomy! We also liked knowing only one surgery is done a day and that the patient is the only priority on surgery day. The care that Dr. Marks does not only prior to and on surgery day, but also after surgery is also pretty amazing. He calls and does a hotel visit to make sure things are good. He's one of the most attentive and thoughtful doctors we've met. Actually, probably the only attentive and thoughtful doctor we've met! We were very impressed with ICVR from the start, talking with Dawn. She was very patient in answering our questions and helping us schedule the surgery. I'm sure she got tired of my phone calls but she was always so very sweet. It was great to finally meet her in person! Our facetime meeting with Dr. Marks went great and he already treated us… likely family. Upon arrival at the clinic, nurse Harold met us and he was absolutely wonderful, genuine and funny. He helped my husband feel at ease and was with him the whole time prior to, time of surgery and recovery at the office. He's truly a great person and loves what he does! The waiting room was comfy and had more than what was needed while waiting. I loved getting updates from Harold during surgery and one of the best parts was talking with Andrea about sperm! She was so much fun and we could have chatted the whole day. Thanks for all your sperm knowledge! Recovery went well with Harold and Dr. Marks making sure my husband was comfortable, eating and drinking. Then it was back to the hotel for rest, ice and sleep. Not once did we feel rushed. We felt like family. We spoke with Dr. Marks that night as a follow up and then Casey called the next morning to see how things were. Dr. Marks also visited the day after surgery to check on things. It's so reassuring knowing that he genuinely cares for all his patients. The after-care instructions are thorough and easy to follow. Healing is going great. The whole process from start to finish is like a well-oiled machine. We look forward to what the future holds but in the mean time, we can't thank Dr. Marks, Dawn, Harold, Andrea and Casey enough for their attention to detail, knowledge and helping people in achieving their dreams. The ICVR team is top notch and I'm so glad we chose them for this delicate procedure! Thank you!

Our experience at ICVR was absolutely phenomenal! I say our, because my fiance and I were treated like royalty, in every step of the way. I should know, because it was my 3rd reversal, from 3 different surgeons, at 3 different surgery centers. This surgery was a redo from a surgery in 2019 that failed. I cannot stress enough, on how important it is to choose the right surgeon. The difference in pain, recovery, and aftercare is unbelievable from my surgery in 2019. It makes me sick to my stomach, that I didn't have to go through so much pain and frustration like the one in 2019. I wish I could post a picture from the day after of both surgeries. I had zero pain and no bruising after a reversal with Dr. Marks. The day after surgery in San Diego was a nightmare. It looked like the surgeon used a hammer, scalpel, and glue. We showed up at ICVR at 7am. We were greeted by my nurse Harold. He showed us to my fiance's waiting room/suite. The suite was so nice and comfortable for… her. We sat down and went over paperwork and talked about what to expect that day. While we were talking, Dr. Marks came in to say hi and asked if we needed anything or had any questions. Dr. Marks then sat down and talked with us for almost an hour. About everything... the surgery... our lives.. and made us feel so comfortable. He was definitely not rushing in an hour late with wet hair, in a hurry to get started, so he could fit in another surgery after mine. After we finished talking with Dr. Marks, Harold walked me to the operating room to get me ready for surgery. Everyone was so nice and made me comfortable as I was laying there. I remember hearing Harold say, I'll be right here and the next thing I remember, I was waking up. Harold and Dr. Marks walked me to the recovery room and sat me in a big comfy recliner to relax as I recover from surgery. Not like in 2019, when I woke up in a wheelchair in the middle of an empty white room, soaked in sweat, and super thirsty. Harold then asked me what I'd like to drink and if I needed anything to make me more comfortable. After I relaxed for awhile, Dr. Marks and Harold went over the post op instructions with us. Then Dr. Marks and Harold walked me to my car. Let me repeat this.... Dr. Marks and Harold walked me to my car. Unbelievable care! We drove to the hotel they set us up with and got situated in bed. Later that afternoon, Dr. Marks called me to see how I was doing. I was very surprised to hear from him that night. With my surgery in 2019, I heard from the doctor after we called with a few concerns a couple days after surgery(he did call us back). After talking with Dr. Marks for a bit, he said, "I'll see you in the morning". He actually came by our room to make sure everything was fine and see if we needed anything. My surgeon in 2019, had me come in to his office so his nurse could look at me for a one month post op check up. I'm not kidding, the surgeon didn't even peek his head in to say hi. Enough of the horror story of 2019. We stayed at our hotel for an extra day because we drove in from San Diego. On the way home, my phone rang... we looked at each other as Dr. Marks' name popped up as a call coming in. He called to see how I was feeling on the drive home. I couldn't believe it! Dr. Marks and staff have contacted me several times to check on me. That is my experience with Dr. Marks and the differences between my last surgery. I really hope this helps someone understand on how important it is to choose your surgeon wisely. Still no pain or discomfort at all. I didn't take one pain pill or Tylenol. Vasectomy reversal is not an experience that I would wish upon anyone. Excellent experience. Procedure went very smoothly and the after care and follow up has been great. Any questions I’ve had have been answered in a very timely fashion. You really get the feeling that Dr. Marks and his staff truly care about their patients and that you aren’t just a transaction.

My husband and I were very nervous at first but took the leap of faith and entrusted Dr. Mark's Vasectomy reversal. We were very happy with the entire process. After months of trying I took an ovulation test and it worked!! We are 16 weeks pregnant!! Worth every penny spent for our miracle baby!! The staff were all very friendly and easy to work with! We researched different Dr.'s in our state to perform this service, however all of our research kept leading us to Dr. Marks. It was a wonderful experience, his staff was super supportive and professional from day 1.

As we were searching for surgeons to perform a vasectomy reversal around our city, we came across an article informing us that a reversal is much more complicated than a vasectomy and we should seek the best. We learned that only the most qualified surgeons have the highest success rates (patients achieving pregnancy). This is how we came upon ICVR (International Center for Vasectomy Reversal); their success rates were the highest we could find after hours of research. After the initial consultation (over the phone) and Dr. Marks answering every question we could think of, we scheduled the reversal and made plans to travel to Tucson from Wisconsin. I also got to go into the lab; Matt did a great job of explaining what was happening under the microscope. The nurses very caring and did an amazing job taking care of my husband. The entire experience could not be matched! The personalized care, concern, and time devoted before, during, and after the surgery was truly top notch and I would never hesitate to recommend ICVR to anyone.
