Dr. Shereen Lukathy Beverly, MD

I had a very good experience with her and the staff. Good bedside manner. During my biopsy she explained step by step what she was doing. Recommend surgery and answered all my questions with professionalism.

To all the ladys out there especially the mommies to be i recommend you to go here because its the most caring, open, clean and organized OB/GYN I have ever went too. For this being my first pregnancy im so grateful to have found Dr. Beverly and her wonderful staff. They are all so welcoming and are always there for you no questions asked. I've never had a doctor so open and understanding till i met Dr. Beverly. To me i don't consider them just another doctors office i consider them family because they've been there every step of the way during my pregnancy with the ups and downs i've had. It means a lot to me that these lady's are there for me and my son. I've truly feel like ive gained 2 extra mom's in my life from Dr. Beverly and her assistant Elizabeth. As for Elizabeth it means a lot to me to know i have someone like her to listen to my problems and help me out. I've always been that person to never open up and be shy but they make me feel so comfortable. There are honestly… not enough words i can say that shows how much I've appreciate them and to have them there during the most amazing time in my life. I am forever blessed to have found Dr. Beverly's office.

I was horrified when googling this doctor to see that she has terrible reviews from other patients. She clearly needs to lose her license. I went into pre-term labor on a fight from Hawaii to Michigan, and my layover was at LAX. I was taken to the nearest hospital which was unfortunately Centinela Hospital in Inglewood. Dr. Beverly was the on-call doctor. She didn't arrive for four hours until after I checked in, and the nurses told me that she was "running errands and taking a shower". I was only 22 weeks pregnant and this was clearly an emergency, so this information was horrifying to me and my husband. When she finally showed up, she was agitated and condescending. She referred to my pregnancy as an "inevitable abortion" because I was dialated and contracting. She said she had to do an exam - it was a forceful and painful exam, and she broke my water, which meant the baby couldn't be saved no matter what. I was crying and extremely distraught, as this was completely unexpected and… we were in total shock. She told my husband and I that it was all our fault and that we should have never been cleared for travel - which makes no sense at all, there is no reason why I should have worried about traveling in the second trimester, and my doctor at home had told us it was completely safe. She left the room, but not before throwing her gloves angrily across the table. She was so unprofessional and rude it was hard to believe she was an actual doctor. The entire experience was a living nightmare. Next, I was left in labor for four hours with no monitoring, just a nurse who barely spoke english checking in on me about once an hour. My son was born not breathing with the cord wrapped around his neck, and the nurse who clearly had no training in birth, said that there was nothing she could have done. I will be filing many formal complaints about this, but after reading the other horrible reviews on Dr. Beverly, I felt it necessary to share my story as well. This doctor needs to lose her license. In my mind I hold her personally responsible for the death of my son.

I recently went there about 2 weeks ago, they have a new nurse and new ultrasound tech. Both are extremely nice and very helpful. Dr. Beverly is very thick skinned, but straight to the point. Which I love, every woman is different on how they want to be treated by an Ob/Gyn. But I enjoy the staff in lawndale, CA.

Nither nice or professional. Talked to me like I was stupid. Painful, rough exam. Also, tech missed my veins 4 times and screamed at me. Went away feeling like a violated piece of meat. I wouldn't complain if it wasn't a problem.
