Dr. Siavash C Sobhani, MD

The first few months everything was great, until I had concerns about medication he prescribed because of how it was making me feel and another medical concern came about. When I expressed my concerns I noticed he wasn’t paying attention. I brought it to his attention and he apologized. I ended up leaving the practice shortly thereafter and learned he prescribed medicine that could have made my condition worse and he misdiagnosed me. The only positive is he found something from a blood test he ran and referred me to a specialist.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Sobhani for over a decade now. He is simply the best in the area. He is compassionate, brilliant in his field, he is simply the best in early diagnosis of any disease, he smells problem way before it happens to you and rushes to take care of it. He is easy to talk to and listens carefully. You are always in safe hands with Dr. Sobhani.

I was looking for a Dr. for my annual physical as my long-term Dr. was ill so I asked a neighbor for recommendation. Upon his recommendation of Sr. Sobhani, I sent their office and e-mail from their web site asking them how to go on about getting a annual physical. They called me and told me to make an appointment which I did. I went to the office, filled out various forms and was taken to a room and asked to wait for the doctor. I met Dr. Sobhani and the first thing he gave to me was a pamphlet for whole body screening. What a joke! I was in awe as it's a way for them to make money instead of getting to know me and my health issues like good doctors do. After being with him for 5-10 minutes he said I would have to make another appointment for the physical and this appointment was a consult. Again, I was shocked as I knew he would be making money off me for nothing. I didn't want a consult, I know my health history which has been excellent for a 52 year old male, I just wanted a… routine physical with blood test and ekg like my previous doctors have done for decades. Anyway, then I go to the lobby and inform the receptionist of my disappointment as I originally told them I wanted a physical and was not informed of a first time visit/consult. Now I have been billed for a ridiculous consult which I have to pay out of pocket instead of having a routine physical which I originally asked for which would have been covered by my insurance minus co-pay at United Healthcare. This man and his practice has no shame. I feel like they bait you charge you and can charge you even more before the service you actually would like to receive. I would have been better off just going to labcorp for a routine blood test. I totally feel conned and I plan to contact the medical board and file a complaint. Don't go this man unless you want to be fleeced or ask questions in detail so your benefits are covered. I am a VP for a major firm and I know my firm would never ever use such a tactic in treating our customers.

I went for my annual and it was the most disappointing physical ever. Dr. Sobhani was in and out whitin 5 min. he told me that my EKG and blood pressure are good, that I look in good health and that he’ll call with the blood test result. I told him that lately I have been suffering from stomach pain and continuous bloating, so he suggested I go see a GI, he didn’t even bother to ask me any question about the pain or how and when I get it, nothing. This is the 4th physical i had with this doctor and though I was never impressed, i was not as disappointed as well.

He reminds us of old fashioned doctors who actually cared about their individual patients. Dr. Sobhani is someone my whole family trusts and he's proven repeatedly that he will go beyond today's norms to take care of his patients. Twelve years and counting ...

Dr. Sobhani is one of those rare doctors who takes the time to listen. I have been going to him for nearly 20 years, have had the time to compare him to other doctors and specialists and I'm fully convinced that he is hands down among the best in primary care. He will try to get you to change lifestyle habits and recheck in follow up exams, rather than immediately prescribing medication, whenever possible. His holistic approach to primary care is an example of his long term view of patient care. He took a year with me to help me lose weight and exercise more and as a result my blood pressure came down significantly, my cholesterol levels ALL got into the normal range and I avoided needing lifelong medications. If you show him you will put in the work, he will work with you.

Just went through a difficult situation trying to get medication. Dr. Sobhani took care of it from out of the office. He, his staff, Buddy and Kathleen, went so above and beyond to help me. Overwhelming gratitude!

Dr. Sobhani has seen me through bronchitis, sinus infections, diabetes treatment, and a seizure disorder. He is kind, patient, observant. Most importantly, he has provided me with truly excellent medical care. He refers me to a specialist when needed, and the doctors to which he referred me as excellent as well. He has followed up with me by telephone by calling ME instead of the other way around. WHat a good doctor he is!

I always dread going to see Dr. Sobhani because the waits are always so long and the staff so nasty. The office staff (especially the office manager) should NOT be client facing as they are rude and unprofessional. I wait about 35-40 minutes each time just to see Dr. Sobhani for a whooping 10 minutes. He is too busy cramming appointments in and not giving patients enough time and care. He does an even worse job following up with me. I'm glad I don't wait on him to get back to me, I would be dead by now.

I started to go to Dr Sobhani 11 years ago. At first his staff was great and the wait times were fine....I brought my whole family to his practice..But Dr. Sobhani was not up to date on any medications and gave me wrong health information. He then proceeded to call me multiple times with the same blood results on the same day....I think he has a memory issue. I rarely get sick and have a medical background but the few times I did have to see him he waved away all of my symptoms and told me I was fine even though I was not. I found another Dr. right away but had a huge problem obtaining my medical records from his staff. I would never see this Dr. or recommend him to anyone ever again.
