Dr. Sima Parikh

This review is long overdue for us; we met Dr. Parikh back in 2016. Our daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy. We were scared, nervous, and apprehensive. We didn't know what we were looking for in a doctor. We didn't know how aggressive or passive we would want a doctor to be. We are so thankful that Dr. Parikh came into our lives. She has treated our daughter with patience, joy, and support. She is always positive. Every time we walk into an appointment, we know that Emma is getting a hug. She lets her be herself. It's not just her personality that is captivating. She is an extraordinary medical professional. She is constantly advising us what our next steps are. She is always asking what questions we have, she never lets us leave an appointment with concerns. She may have explained to us the same thing a thousand times but she shows patience and gratitude. I can not imagine another person to have gotten us to this point in our journey. Her staff is responsive and they are always happy… to see our daughter when she comes in. I would recommend this doctor without a doubt in my mind. I trust her with my daughter's diagnosis and her future.

My daughter has been seen for almost 3 yrs by Dr. Parikh due to a seizure disorder. When I first came across her, I was very afraid, panicked and overwhelmed to say the least due to the new diagnosis of my daughter. Dr. Parikh has always taken the time to discuss, explain and brain storm with me on what is the best possible care for my daughter. We are so blessed to have been assigned to her at the hospital. She has been honestly without a doubt a great strength and support to our family. Her office promptly returns my calls & she has always been available for me when I reach out with concerns. Without her and my faith I truly believe I would have been lost.

My son had a stroke and seizures at 12 days old and if it wasn’t for doctor Parikh ordering an MRI we would’ve been playing a guessing game as to what was going on with him needless to say she has been his neurologist ever since. She’s really been amazing with his care and always keeping us informed as to what our next step is. I love the fact that she is as eager as us to take him off of his seizure medication. Every time we go to her she is more than willing to answer our questions and we never leave with a doubt. Thank you Doctor Parikh for being so amazing. Roseli & Greg Vargas

I just read the only review on here and I could not have writtten it better myself. She gets a big zero from my family. Pushed medication and that was it. Lack of clear explanation, contradicted herself, insensitive considering she is speaking to parents about their children in a very challenging time. Left feeling so upset and time was wasted. I can’t believe she works in pediatrics. Maybe someone else is better within the group but DO NOT see her.

Empathy is a core part of the medical practice in which Dr. Parikh has no sense in. She has extreme poor bedside manner, lacks in sympathetic smiles or caring for the parent or caretaker of the patient and has zero genuine human connection. Consider her to be a medicine management person the patient, better yet, she’s more like a pharmacist because she lacks in everything a doctor should be.
