Horrible!

dr.colbert did an excellent job of making a new breast from tummy fat-matched my other one perfectly. sadly i had to have bilateral mastectomies following a cancer recurrance, but he came through again and fixed me up with implants that also match well, despite being differently removed. he is very respectful and addresses your concerns in a way that is reassuring, yet factual. and, he always has a back-up plan , altho' i'm sure he seldom needs it.

I had surgery on one of my brocken fingers.The surgery was fast and I healed fast. He explained why he recommended surgery but did not seem to be pushing it.The only problem I had was that he failed to explain the healing process that thoroughly. He did not mention specifically how big my cast would be and how it would limit my movement. He also did not tell me that I would have to wear something afterward for a period of time. But as a surgeon he gets A+. He got the job done and I now have full mobility. I am quite happy with the choice to use him.

While his nurse and office staff were lovely Dr. Colbert and his resident assistant were a nightmare. They treated me like a child, did not consider anything I said, and doubted my pain.When I went to get my stitches out, the Dr. was on vacation so his resident pulled of the steristrips, causing my wound to gape open and then said it wasn't really bleeding and it was fine. He then cleared me to return to a hand intensive job with a gaping wound.It has been the worst set of doctors visits I ever had.

Dr.Colbert completed breast reconstruction following bilateral masectomy due to breast cancer. He used the DIEP method and I am highly satisfied with the results and experience. I would readily and most highly recommend him.
