Dr Burgess is the best. I was so nervous when I was told I need eye injections and he was so assuring that it wasn't as bad as I thought and he was right. Of course I was very nervous on my first visit but he did everything to make me feel comfortable and I trust him and feel very confident whenever I need to go back even though I still go through anxiety I know I am in good hands and he proves that every time. God bless him and I feel so fortunate to have found him.

Dr Burgess is simply amazing, he is not like other Doctors who make you feel worse about your situation and pushes medicine or procedures that do not work. He is compassionate and has a very relaxing demeanor I wish he was my primary care Dr. He is really like ano other. My vision has improved so much I am able to thrive and still do the things I love to do. Thank you from the bottom oy my heart to you and your amazing staff.

Excellent experience! Never had an issue with my eyes before having a tear in the retina. Dr. Burgess was awesome! Very thorough with the time to diagnose and repair the issue! Greatly appreciated!

This is above & beyond... I was on my daily bike ride, the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. My eye sight in my right eye suddenly started to fade rapidly. I basically could not see by the time I arrived home. I called my Eye Doctor, who met me at his office an hour after I called him. He did a full eye exam. He told me, I had a Retina tear with bleeding behind the eye, which is why I could not see. He immediately called Dr. Stuart Burgess, who met with me at The Florida Eye Institute 30 minutes later. Again, it was Sunday, about 2:30pm Labor Day Weekend!! He unlocked the door, did a full eye exam, AND... Laser Surgery!! Wow! Thank you Dr. Burgess! That people, is high level patient care! I did a followup 3 days later. All looked good, I am on the road to recovery! Exceptional experience!

As a person having to see a retinal specialist, that in itself is scary. Going to an office with a staff that makes me feel comfortable with their knowledge is what anyone can as for. A note of “thanks” to Dr Burgess and his whole staff at the Ft Lauderdale office. You guys are awesome, friendly and great working attitude. I am truly grateful!

Dr.Burgess is an amazing caring retinal specialist. He explains all procedures and results so that I can understand. In addition ,the staff is so friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend this Ophthalmology practice that treats all eye disorders.

I have macular degeneration and geographic atrophy in both eyes. Dr. Burghess is incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. New therapy options are always being explored for my condition. His staff particularly Hunter are always outstanding, considerate and attentive.
