I have been a patient at Cary Medical Group for about ten years. I came to believe that Dr. Susan Crittenden would be the last Primary Care Physician I would ever need. So imagine my surprise when I was told to either pick one of several suggested drugs to get a new prescription for or find a new doctor that specialized in palliative care. I had always thought that the patient had the right to accept or decline any drugs that go into their body. This process has shattered my confidence in medical care at this facility I only share this experience so that it never happens to another patient.

Dr. Crittenden truly cares about her patients. She always spends the time necessary to understand the need and effectively communicate. As a fellow physicuan- I appreciate having her as my primary care doctor.

I was very dissatisfied with her overall. Her failure to properly diagnose and present acceptable treatment options was troublesome.

Dr. Crittenden is the ONLY doctor who I have ever seen that truly cared about you as a patient. She spent all the time you needed with her. You do not feel rushed at all. An amazing caring and compassionate doctor.

She has gone above and beyond in caring for me, calling outside of office hours to check in, and truly sensitive to the complex range of health issues.

I told her I had not been feeling well for months & suggested what I thought was wrong. She dismissed my symptoms and even went so far as to suggest they could be psychological. I had blood work done, her nurse called & said "the blood work was normal and the Dr does not know why you are not feeling well". I got a copy of the blood work and there were at least a half dozen test that were NOT in the normal range! And they supported the health issue I told her I think I have. She was very cold and unconcerned. I am going to another Dr that cares about my health issues and making me feel better.
