Very dissatisfied with Dr. Meltzer. Cold and blunt. Waiting more than 2 1/2 hours for scheduled appt is not acceptable.

Very unprofessional staff. Rediculous wait times and very poor follow up on labs. Would not recommend.

I have been ok with the one on one's with the doctor. But she will not return phone calls even if it's for prescription refills. My biggest problem is the receptionist, you can walk in and stand in front of her for 5 minutes while she reads and never acknowledges your existence.

Dr Meltzer is the most kind , considerate, friendly, and knowledgeable Doctor I have ever been to....Ever! She really makes you feel very comfortable and she shows interest in your life in general....I would HIGHLY recommend her! The office staff is also wonderful...the secretary is always pleasant no matter how many times you call and bug her...(I am guilty if that--sorry Patty) A great group of people! :)

This doctor was highly recommended to me when I saw her. I found her to be somewhat condescending. The biggest problem was that although she sent me for an MRI, she never contacted me with the results which showed a brain tumor. Even after I contacted her office once I obtained the results through another physician, she never called me back. This is inexcusable.

Dr. Meltzer has been my physician for ten years. She is wonderful. The singular downside of her practice is that she tends to run late with patients. I attribute this to the fact that she spends a lot of time with each patient. Sometimes the wait is long, but I have never felt rushed or that she was not giving her full attention. Dr. Meltzer has been treating me for hypertension for ten years to great effect. She is caring, friendly, knowledgeable, and listens well. On the rare occasion I have been seen by her colleague Dr. Carr. He is good too. but I (a 37 year old male) am convinced that female docs listen to patients better than male docs. I recommend Dr. Meltzer without reservation.

Susan Meltzer has seen me through some terribly difficult medical problems. She is a very smart doctor ... that's not just my opinion, my specialist doctors have said that to me as well; she is highly respected among her colleagues. Dr. Meltzer is also a compassionate, kind, and attentive doctor. She really listens to her patients and takes their concerns very seriously. I have nothing but the deepest respect and affection for her, and trust her with my life. (I also like her practice partner, Eric Carr, who has also taken excellent care of me when Dr. Meltzer was not available.)
