Dr. Syed Wajih Ul Hasan Rizvi, MD

Dr. Syed Rizvi is excellent. Clear and concise in explaining your test results. I have been a patient since 2002 for a thyroid condition and is stable since I have been his patient. He is the very best Endocrinologist. I highly recommend Dr. Rizvi. He is well worth the wait to see.

Dr Rizvi is a good Dr- once you get through the multiple interns who come in to ask you the same hundred questions every visit. Also, the wait time has never been less than two hours. I like Dr Rizvi a lot, but it's definitely just not worth all the trouble you have to go through in order to see him. Also, the waiting room has too few seats and is usually crowded with people having to stand. When I switched Drs and they asked my reason, I said the wait was too long at my previous Dr, and they immediately knew where I had been without my saying who it was. When you have a reputation amongst your peers, it's time to make a change.

This doctor is the best! He knows diabetes inside out. You will never get the same medical care elsewhere. He will determine with subcutaneous needle monitoring for 2 weeks how far are you in DM. If he needs pills or insulin dependent. He will check if diabetes affected your carotids, heart, kidneys, ...etc. He will give you the lancets and strips to check at home. Many other doctors and primaries, they do not care. I recommend Dr. Rizvi to any diabetic patient. 5 Stars!

Give yourself 2-3 hours per visit. Office is always full of people waiting for the doctor, even when you take the first appointment. The scheduling is dismal. The doctor is very nice, but bring a snack and something to read. Have also had problems getting prescriptions refilled.

I have been to a few endos before switching to Dr. Rizvi. Whereas, most doctors will look at bloodwork and write script based on results, Dr. Rizvi appears to take the individual into account. Even though the bloodwork might read one way, there might be additional symptoms that require evaluations. The only disappointing thing is the wait time at his office. It is never less than 2 hours of which 15 minutes is with the doctor. The office books 4 people in each 15 minute time slot even though there is only one doctor. This is very inconvenient for a full time employee (whose schedule involves last minute travel) with a family.

Dr Rizvi and his staff are very caring and follow through with getting you the best care. They are the Best!!!

Staff is very nasty wait time is very long

Dr. Rizvi has been my endo for quite some time now, he is courteous, extremely knowledgeable and listens well. His receptionist, and other staff in the office are the complete opposite. They are rude, not thorough and do not take complaints seriously. I am giving 5 stars for Dr. Rizvi ONLY.

Does not co-ordinate lab results with other doctors!

It takes me 1 1/2 hours to get to his office but I feel it's worth the time. Dr. Rizvi is very competent and I trust him. I wish he was closer to my home. That's the reason I gave only 3 stars for overall.
