Dr. Tania Lorena Rivera, MD

Had an appointment to which I arrived 30 min early as instructed. Waited an extra 45 min. She was barely paying attention when she did show up. I wrote a 3 star review, and then she terminated me as a patient without even having the decency to inform me. She also deleted my review on the healthcare site Terra, where she suspiciously only has 5 star reviews. Horrible horrible experience

Dr. Rivera is the worst doctor I have ever met! Its really hard to schedule an appointment with a rheumatologist, ive been waiting for this appointment for 4 or 5 months, and it only lasted 2 minutes. Right away she told me that "everything is fine and if i have anymore questions before i leave?" Its only been 15 seconds and she didnt really listen to me and whats going on with my pain. And how everything is fine if I have pain and my blood work was abnormal, thats why my physician sent me a referral to a rheumatologist, because I needed more blood work and diagnostics. Her response was "just forget about those lab results, everything is fine, I will make a note in your account so we wouldnt do those test again". like what? My blood work came back abnormal a few time already, and she said just to forget about it?! And every time I tried to tell her where is my pain located, and asking( like 5 times) to do more blood work or something else, she was interrupting me all the time "do you… have anymore questions before you leave?". And she was so rude and unprofessional, the tone of her voice and the way she look at me. And then she just stood up and left the room, without saying anything. and it was the end of my visit. Just very unprofessional, and a waste of time.

Terrible customer service. Trying to get appointment was harder than pulling one's own teeth.

Dr Rivera lacks a friendly and warm bedside manner, very robotic, not a great communicator. Long wait for 5 minutes of actual appt time with dr. Biggest problem is the inefficiency of the office staff. Problems getting testing done because staff could not get the appropriate paperwork to testing site. Difficult getting a hold of anyone in office, no return phone calls, no follow-thru. Very frustrating. I gave up. This was the biggest waste of time for me.

Relatively new RA patient. PA consulted on changing from one drug to another but when I got to pharmacy it was something else we had not discussed. Called three times for new instructions, leaving a message each time. Each time I was assured they would call back. Yesterday I was told dr was in office and would get right back to me. Nothing! Today is fourth day, called again and no one in even in office. Horrible patient support. Makes me feel like I don't matter at all. Changing Drs asap!

I'm a patient of Dr. Tania Rivera, and I could not be happier. They always seem to have an early morning appointment so I can get in before work, and she is extremely knowledge and quickly and accurately prescribed solutions to my problems. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Rivera started seeing me last year. As my condition started to worsen, her approach was to just keep switching me to a different medication. Now I am in crippling pain, barely able to get out of bed or walk and thd only phone numbers I have for her (including every phone number on thd internet) is disconnected and not in use. Strike 3, time to find a new doctor.

Always pleasant to be seen in her office. She has taken good care of me. I have no pain now and able to exercise more often.

She is so professional, warm and honest, she took the time to really "see" me, explained her recommendations clearly and steered me away from procedures and products she felt were inappropriate for me at this time. Great staff, lovely offices. I highly recommend and will be a long-time client.

She spends time with me....never feel rushed. Explains things to my satisfaction. Dr Rivera has a wonderful staff, who's been with her many years. I never have much of a wait at this office. She's prompt, courteous and friendly.
