Dr. Tara Lisa Brodkin, MD

Dr. Brodkin has been great to me! I have known her for over 6 years and she has helped me safely deliver my 3 beautiful children. She and her office staff have always been very accommodating to me as a busy, working mom. She always listens, and I truly feel she cares about my well-being. I would recommend her to anyone looking for women's care

Dr. Brodkin has been my OB/GYN for almost 15 years. She has always provided phenomenal care over the years and always remembers personal and medical details from visit to visit. I had my first baby this year and she saved my life and my baby’s life after unexpected pregnancy complications. Many of my symptoms were “normal” pregnancy symptoms but she listened to all my concerns and was able to diagnose and treat me right away before things got out of control. I can’t imagine having another OB after everything she did for me and my family. Dr. Brodkin is so caring and made extra visits to me in the hospital and even called me on weekends and after hours to check on how the baby and I were doing. My family and I love Dr. Brodkin!

I struggled with endometriosis for years. And while Dr. Brodkin is not quick to go to the knife right away she did not hesitate when it was clear that was the only option. Her appointments may not start on time but that is because she gives each of her patients time, care, and concern and will not shove you out the door just because someone else is waiting. When you are with her, you are it, the priority. Some may not like that wait in the waiting room but Dr. Brodkin is well worth it. And Christina at the front desk is like your BFF! So easy to talk to, she doesn't just shove you off the phone. She cares too!

Wanted to take a minute to acknowledge Dr. Brodkin for the amazing care and compassion she provided to me and my 84 year old mother over the past year. We moved to AZ several months ago and after many years of abysmal gynecological care, we were fortunate to find her. It's not just the level of knowledge and expertise she provides, but also the compassion and urgency she applies to address concerns and issues. She is the kind of Dr. that you search for, but rarely find. I also cannot say enough about her staff. They are excellent in terms of service and care.

Office staff was rude,nasty,and incorrigible!

I have been going to Dr. Brodkin for about 20 years. I though she was wonderful until I had an actual problem. That is when you find out the most about people. After several tests and visits with a lot of time and money spent, we schedule my surgery to find out she will only use a assistant surgeon that is NOT contracted with my plan. I can either pay $400 out of pocket for non-contacted assistant or find a new provider. She will not use any other assistant. I am devastated and in tears.

Dr. Brodkin and her staff are Fantastic. I couldn't be happier with them and feel so blessed she was my doctor throughout my pregnancy and delivery. She is not only board certified and actually knows what she is talking about, but she is friendly and honest.

in over 40 yrs of having a pap, i have never been asked if they can use a pediatric instrument-which i needed for several years due to menopause symptoms. she spends time listening to you, has lots of knowledge. i did not feel rushed. highly recommend her.

Ok their fees are ridiculous literally 4 times that of other Docs. If you have an emergency situation and lets say you just switched Insurance don't bother calling they could care less. My wife was 27 weeks along and started to have preterm labor. Went to ER and got things stopped after 4 hours. Went the next day to office and told them we had new insurance and that the new cards would be in soon. Remind you we just had a pretty good scare. We were than turned away due to the fact we didn't have proof of insurance or we had everything but the card itself. We were than told we could pay cash but it would be 660 dollars to see her. We asked for what they said she will only see you if you start a payment plan for delivery, which was about 5000k which they already billed our old insurance for and we already paid 300 dollars in deductibles and towards the amount 10% we owed. So needless to say we were never seen a day after we had a preterm labor serious issue. The doctor wouldn't… even talk to us...... ALL ABOUT MONEY NOT ABOUT PATIENT CARE. we asked the nurse what we should do and they stared at us with a blank face like if you don't have any money we wont talk to you..... WE have insurance and the whole they just dont care they are always late never nice and they act like they are just to get you in the door to take your money. 3800 just for office visits and prenatal care..... 8000 plus for the whole is like 3 to 4 times the normal price and they are horrible NO THANK YOU... Get some manners and care about your patients.
