Dr. Teresa Helen Hashisaki, MD

Had a horrible experience with this physician. She was extremely judgmental and treated me like I was stupid. I’m 20 years old and was already looking for a new Dr due to my age but had to be seen immediately so couldn’t see a new physician. Im going to school to work in the healthcare field and she showed me how I will never treat my future patients. If I could give her 0 stars I would.

Said "Obviously you're a virgin" (yes, those exact words). Said "Nobody will ever treat your poor circulation" with no follow-up. Asks me every appointment if I'm "still" bisexual. Was wearing a cute dress and she said, "So... what look were you going for?" very rudely. I dropped my extracurricular for one semester to focus on my grades and she insinuated I would never get into college for it. All in all, very rude and does not know how to talk to teenagers (insults them) or maybe just people in general. Would not recommend.

I found Dr. Hashisaki to be very unhelpful and condescending when visited for a full body rash that my 3 year old developed suddenly. She refused to answer my direct questions, such as, what would it mean if sores develop in her mouth, after she had suggested the possibility. She also referred to my concern as “freaking out.” I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who expects a caring and competent physician.

She saw a well patient before seeing me, who had a fever of over 102. What happened to First Do no Harm??? I waited for wayyy over an hour to see her. RIDICULOUS.
