Dr. Theresa Kroeker performed my parathyroid surgery. She was able to explain to me what she would do so I could understand. The surgery went well. My calcium levels were within the normal range and has continued to stay in the normal range with only a 1/2 a parathyroid. I received excellent care at the hospital. I received instructions on how to care for the neck scar. You can hardly see it after 4 months.

When I found that I needed surgery for Parathyroid Hyperactivity, I did as much research as possible. Everything I read said to find an Endocrine Surgeon who did at least 50 parathyroid surgeries per year. I was so pleased to learn that Dr. Kroeker does in excess of 100 per year. She was very professional, explained everything that she would do, and worked to give me as nice a scar as possible, which she did. I had a Thyroidectomy many years ago, so she had to deal with old scar tissue, but she had no problems. I would highly recommend Dr. Kroeker to anyone considering any type of endocrine surgery.

They are all very professional answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns. My thyroidectomy went flawless and my recovery is now complete. Dr. Kroeker was more than I could possibly have imagined in my care both before and after my surgery. Always explained what she was doing, going to do and even gave me her cell phone # to call her if I had any concerns or questions while in the hospital and after I went home. She followed me for a # of months after my procedure to be sure my parathroid was doing what she expected. Primarily my calcium level.
