Dr. Teresa A Habacker, MD

Do not go to this woman. She permanently damaged my finger during surgery. There’s a reason she’s worked for every hospital and practice on Long Island. Can’t hold her reputation to save her life horrible surgeon, horrible doctor. Stay clear!!

Stay away from this Dr She is unethical and should not be trusted. She works for the insurance companies who pack her office with people to be allegedly examined. She will always give an unfavorable evaluation Run away

Excellent hand specialist - I was seen in the office, examined thoroughly, diagnosed correctly and treatment plan was very effective. Staff and office are top-notch - friendly, clean, efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Dr. Habacker.

this dr has repeatedly lied to workers comp about my injuries. she has never even examined me. I was in her office for maybe 5 minutes at the longest. I have been scheduled to see her 3 times and all 3 times she said there is nothing wrong basically. mind you I have MRI reports stating differently. I ahave a torn rotator cuff. nerve damage. severe herniated disks and minimal spinal fluid due to a work related injury where I was struck from behind with a steel door. she is not truthful at all. I suffer in pain daily and due to severe allergies to many medication I am not a candidate for surgery. this is over 2 years since my accident and because of her I have not recieved proper medical treatment as I should have. she should lose her licence to practice medicine . She should not be allowed to treat anyone. please if you need a dr. please please please do not go to her. she is a terrible human being and doctor

If I could put zero stars I would this doctor is absolutely horrible and needs her license revoked first of all she only specializes in hands so I have no idea why she’s examining patients that have more injuries than that. I had a horrible experience in her office where she forcefully lifted up my arm that I haven’t even got surgery on yet I actually cried in office and it was not listed on my report the fact that she says there’s nothing further wrong with me is absolutely ridiculous and she needs to lose her license I wouldn’t recommend this lady to anybody.

Take a witness and record. She screamed at my witness who suffers from anxiety and is pregnant when she saw her recording. My witness was not hiding the fact she was recording. There are no signs posted, nor anything on the paperwork you fill out for her that asks if you are going to record which is your right written on the WCB notice of IME. She stopped the exam at that point and had my witness tell the front desk and they brought in a laptop to record also. You will still get a bad report from her as she has to please the insurance company paying her so she will get further referrals. I would suggest taking an older male as witness so she can’t bully or harass them which is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I give her zero stars.

bring a rep or witness with you, because she comes out with certain tools to check you, but the truth is in the MRI...BOTTOM LINE....AND SHE DONT EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK AT THEM, TRIES TO SAY, SHE LOOKS AT IT LATER..SMFH THEN WHY WE HAVE TO BRING THEM, SHE IS USELESS BUT ..WHAT CAN I SAY EXCEPT SHE SHOULD BE ASHAMED, BUT FOR 500 OR MORE PER IME, INSURANCE COMPANIES LOVE HER...AVOID ASK FOR ANOTHER QUACK DOC.

My name is Karen Seader and I am a patient of Dr. Teresa Habacker. She is an excellent hand specialist who did surgery on my finger over a year ago. With time and with therapy, my finger has healed so well that I can hardly see or feel any difference between the injured finger and my other normal fingers. I find this remarkable since my finger had been severely injured with a fracture and torn ligaments. I owe this recovery to the expertise of Dr. Theresa Habacker! She is a highly skilled surgeon, a wonderful person, and I’m forever grateful that I was led to her!!

My physical therapist told me this doc always goes against the patients, %100 during IME exams. She knows who signing her paycheck.
