Dr. Romeo is honest, caring and highly skilled. He is fellowship trained and board certified with the AAHKS and AAOS and graduated from Tufts Medical School. He is highly esteemed at Peconic Bay Medical Center. His patient references are available from his office. If you do your homework you will see he is the best choice for your hip or knee replacement. You can not overestimate qualifications, honesty and skill when you are having surgery.

Dr. Romeo and his staff were outstanding. I did check this web site and was a little disappointed and wasn't sure if I should call...I did check with 6 people who had procedures with Dr. Romeo and they all were doing well. My first contact was with Denise Dr. Romeo's nurse and from the start to the end she was always available for both my husband and myself. My husband developed a blood clot in the opposite leg and without Dr. Romeos insisting on a Doppler test before leaving the hospital which is not normally done, our outcome could have been tragic. As of today everything looks great and his future with his new hip awaits him. We hope to have Dr. Romeo do his knee next year. We thank everyone involved in my husbands recovery as well as Peconic Bay Medial Center.
