Dr Melvin spends the time with the patient to understand their total health condition before making treatment recommendations. She cares for each of our family with compassion and highest quality care.

Dr. Melvin took care of my father during the final months of his time on earth. I was so impressed with her bedside manner. My dad was not always the "easiest" patient. He was set in his ways and had very strong beliefs. Dr. Melvin still maintained a level of concern and care that was patient and kind. She was also very "hands on" and took extra steps to ensure he was being taken care of properly. Lastly, anytime we ever told another health care professional that Dr. Melvin was his primary, they were quick to advise that she was a fantastic doctor that truly cared for her patients.

Best doctor in Chattanooga area by far. Most caring, compassionate, loving doctor I have ever seen. She is excellent. She provides the best possible care even for elderly people. A very prominent internist who had been treating my Dad said of course he is going to die he is 80 years old. What do you expect? Then took Dad to Dr. Melvin where she treated him with respect and care. She even visited him at his home when he was too ill to go to her office. She showed a dying patient love and compassion not contempt like so many other uncaring, unprofessional doctors

She’s the Best

She has some knowledge about general issues but out of ordinary issues overlooked and lack of knowledge!

She is the Hospice doc in Chattanooga. Her job is to quickly escort her patients out of this world and to not attempt to heal them. Terrible bedside manner. Terrible communication skills. Very average medical knowledge. Caveat Emptor with this doctor.

She took care of our dad, Alzheimer's, and every other condition he had. She is the most loving, caring, with the patience of an Angel. She goes above and beyond in every way. You couldn't ask for any one better to trust the care of your loved one with.
