Dr. Thomas Robert Mizen, MD

Dr. Mizen treated my mother with great success. Dr, Mizen is a very knowledgeable doctor. I appreciate Dr. Mizen; he is very personable, kind and cares about each patient. Thank you, Dr. Mizen. Just to let you know, I also was told by a doctor from Loyola that Dr. Mizen is the BEST in the whole city. Again, he is the best! To me, if you are seeing the best, he is worth the wait.

I want to give him 5 stars because he is super smart and spends a great deal of time with his patients. However, the wait times to see him are outrageous. I usually ask for the first appointment of the day and I still have to wait an hour to see him. If you aren’t the first appointment it’s likely you will wait several hours. It’s highly frustrating and I wish the staff could schedule better. The feedback is clear I’m all his ratings that the ridiculous wait times are dragging down his score.

Dr. Mizen is BRILLIANT & COMPASSIONATE! He is in high demand. Hard to get an appt. Staff could be better trained. A lot of issues with phone messages.

He didn't seem to review my records. He missed key information that would have assisted in a diagnosis. He seems to think he knows everything when he didn't have a clue.

Very nice thorough doctor. But what is so shocking and rude are his wait times. He thinks nothing if have you spend 2-3 hours waiting. Why his office does not schedule him better I find so maddening. My time is important and if I have an 8 am appt 10am or even 11 am is not ok. Dr mizen should learn to respect others time like he I am sure expects people do for him.

Couldn't ask for a nicer doctor ... spends time with you and explains everything. Highly recommend.

waited a long time to get an appointment and waited at office to see him, but it was totally worth it. After seeing several other doctors (2 of which referred me to Dr Mizen) he had the answers and knew what to do. Great bedside manner, answered questions.

I waited about two months for my routine appointment and about 30 minutes before seeing Dr. Mizen and it was worth every second!! He had a wonderful caring manner and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions.

I waited two months for an appointment, then one hour in his office, then walked out due to frustration. I consider this patient abuse. If a physician treats patients like this, I wonder if he should be in the people caring business.
