My husband was referred to Dr. Lawhorn for neck pain. Dr. Lawhorn was very professional and to the point. He confirmed Dr. Cooks prev. Recommendations and confirmed we were on the right track to reduce the pain. It was a quick but informative visit from a respected and trusted specialist who said he is availableto us if we need him. We received 5 star service!

Saw Dr. Lawhorn on a recent visit concerning my neck. He had looked at my history, X-rays , and all this stuff before entering the exam room. Asked me questions concerning my injury. Asked me what kind of results I was looking for. He has started me on a journey to get as healthy as a 58 year old can get. Loved the initial visit.

I was seen by Thomas Walter Lawhorne on October 15, 2025 in Brunswick, GA at Optim Orthopedics. This was a follow-up visit as I was previously seen by him due to a workers comp injury. This was the WORST experience I ever had with ANY doctor in my entire life. As soon as he walked into the examination room, things went left. I was not treated with the dignity and respect that I deserved. He addressed me as if I was bothering him. He was very dismissive and refused to listen to anything I had to say about the symptoms I am still having. I was humiliated and I felt violated!!! Lawhorne lacks the professionalism that should be synonymous with being a medical doctor. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone under ANY circumstance!!! C Johnson

In my humble opinion Dr. Lawhorne is a very good doctor. He takes a personal interest in his patients which is evidenced by my personal experience when visiting his office. He is candid and clear of his intentions of treatment and treated me with courtesy and respect. He seems to be a man who follows his conscience conscious which is evidenced by his willingness to go above and beyond by making sure he is doing a thorough job to take care of me as his patient.
