Dr. John Timothy Heffernan, MD

I felt rushed at my appointment with Dr. Heffernan. He asked very few questions about my condition and past surgeries. I felt as if he scolded me for coming to him for a second opinion. Granted mine was not a simple case. I had facial reconstruction which has left my eye constantly red and irritated and severe double vision through at least a third of my visual plane. My new ocular plastic surgeon says it will be a great challenge to restore my eye to it's previous full function, asked for the notes from my previous surgeries and began outlining a treatment plan. Dr. Heffernan essentially told me to just deal with it.

I met with several eye surgeons before I decided to go with Dr. Heffernan. He did an amazing job on my upper and lower eyelid surg. His staff was fantastic and I felt like I was in great hands. Dr. Hefferan has also given me two Fraxel treatments and my skin has never looked better! I have sent several of my girl friends and their husbands to him. Two thumbs up!!!

the doctor handed me a pre-printed sheet when i asked him a specific question. "this will answer your questions" then left for 10 minutes. the sheet didn't even remotely address my specific question. when he came back, and when 'pressed', the doctor gave a rather vague answer and wouldn't give specifics.
