Dr. Kieckbusch was raised in Reno. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno obtaining a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine graduating with his M.D. in 1998. Dr. Kieckbusch then moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he did his orthopaedic training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kieckbusch joined Sierra Orthopedics in 2003. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is an associate professor with the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr. Kieckbusch practices general orthopaedics with the exception of spinal injury. He is married and the father of two children. His hobbies include hunting and fishing plus many other activities.

I’m so grateful to have had Dr. Kieckbusch as my surgeon twice with knee replacements. He was professional, thorough, precise, has had my health and wellbeing foremost in my follow-up appointments. His office is well run and I have seen him every appointment, which makes all the difference in the world. I highly recommend him and Great Basin.

Dr. keckbusch and his assistant are so professional and kind. I never wait too long, always pleasant, always very informative. Dr. Keckbusch performed a total knee replacement on my left knee last April. I'll be having him do my right knee replacement next spring
