I have been seeing Dr. Shah for over a decade. I have been able to reduce many of the migraine pills I’ve been taking, and destroying my stomach, due to the treatments from Dr. Shah. I am in my 60’s and no other pain management doctor has helped me this much. Dr. Shah is in a different league. She really targets the pain and is empathetic and caring. Dr. Shah is very professional yet personable. I recommended her to friends and family. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pain management doctor.

First Dr Shah is no longer at Prohealth-she has opened her own practice Shah Spine and Pain on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage If you are looking for a fabulous doctor she is it! After having Dr Shah as my doctor for over 5 years, I feel extremely blessed. She is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. She responds personally to her emails, promptly, certainly a rarity today. She listens to your concerns, worries and takes care of them, taking away any anxiety you might have. I am so happy for her success in her own practice after leaving Prohealth last yr. Her staff and office now run so much better than when she was at Prohealth, no long waits on the phone on hold and her staff is super. She deserves ALL the success she has had. I highly respect her and trust her implicitly with my health. I'm so glad to call her my doctor. She is the very BEST!!

im 26. im in so much pain. I have a messed up back and it just started getting 100000x the last 4 months. I AM TIRED OF STAYING IN MY BED CRYING and working in pain on top of stress. when I ask for a xanax, WHY IS IT SO BAD? you wont give me painkillers anyway. just baclofen. WHAT IS BACOFLFEN gonna do for me? how am I gonna go get a job, girlfriend, a life, be happy? WHEN IM JUST IN MY ROOM CRYING CAUSE I HATE BEING IN MY BODY CAUSE IT HURTS. who made you a doctor? honestly? what did they teach you? that a 26 year old cant be in pain?

Due to her behavior and consistently abusing patients rights Perhaps a malpractice class action suit due

If I prevent just one person from using this doctor, I've done my job. She will give you a speedy diagnosis, inject you multiple times, not return phone calls, and you will see an assistant for follow-up appointments. She will then recommend you seek help elsewhere (of course, within the ProHEALTH network). Truly the worst experience I've ever had involving the medical profession (and eye-opening). My sciatica pain is absolutely worse since the injections as well - I am literally having trouble walking. I highly recommend you seek another doctor.

Did not call in my prescription and didn't return any of my calls

This doctor not only recognized and understood the value of treating trigger points she was thorough and extremely patient .Provided email so I could update her about my progress after treatment . She is the most caring and patient doctor I have had the pleasure of dealing with.Could not imagine anyone having issues with this doctor

Pleasant doctor,very knowledgeable and caring. Doesn’t rush patients,returns calls in prompt manner and office wait time no longer then half hour .

Consult with Dr. Shah. Complaint of chronic back, right leg pain, burning and numbness. Provided medical reports, including EMG and MRI. Clinical examination performed. Advised she would contact primary care physician and advise this patient of proposed plan. Still waiting for return call one month later. Unacceptable and unprofessional medical oversight.
