Dr. Umar Hasan Choudry, MD

Dr. Choudry performed a DIEP flap breast reconstruction on me after I had a prior total mastectomy. He is very kind and patient and did a superb job. My surgery was hard but it was worth it and a success. I still have to do the follow up surgery but the first one was the big one and the hardest. I’m so glad to have breasts made of my own tissue. Such a miracle to regain breasts after losing them to cancer.

Surgery on my right hand a few days ago went very well. Could have been scary but every member of the care team was sharp and also kind. They explained everything that was happening, before and during the procedure. Met the resident that was assisting a week prior to operation, which made everything comfortable. I recommend this doctor at this surgery center to anyone considering explorative or reconstructive surgery.

Very personable, understanding. I liked him a lot

He is very caring, explains everything well and has a sense of humor while other doctors don't (or don't show their patients at least). He has been a part of my surgical team for years.

He told me that he couldn't keep me an A and had to be at least a B. He told me most women thing being bigger is a bonus and couldn't understand why I wanted to bother reconstructing if I was going to stay so small. He told me to not reconstruct and if hated it I could come back if I thought being bigger was better than nothing.

Dr. Choudry is caring, gives his all when seeing his patients, and has a sense of humor.
