Dr. Valerie Witmer Fuller, DO

The person answering the phone has poor communication skills lack of professionalism and doesn't care the time of the patient

Dr. Fuller is one of the nicest and best Doctors I have been to. She is confident, communicates well and has found many problems regarding my skin. I have been a patient of hers for many years and will continue.

I guess there was miscommunication between what I told the desk when I scheduled the appointment and what that translated to when I got there. I waited a long time to get in to see the doctor for a body scan for melanoma, and when I got there, they told me she didn't have time for that today and that's not what this appointment was made for. I'm not sure why, because I really didn't have any other reason to be there. She ended up checking "half" of me, since there would be no other reason to bill me and that took a total of about 2 minutes. Why she couldn't look at the other half is beyond me. People come in that are training and I don't want people coming in that are training. I'm paying for her to spend time with me, not teaching others. She talked to them, not me. It takes 6 months to get in there to have a scan for melanoma. I really don't understand considering the time she really takes why this is such a wait. Overall it was a lousy experience and I have no confidence… that she would find anything even if it was there because she did it so fast.
