Dr. Vernon Le Roy Young, MD

Dr. Young is very nice and seemed to be caring. I also did some research and found positive comments and he certainly seems highly credentialed. The office is a very relaxing and calm environment, so it seems nice. My lower ratings are due to having to wait for 1/2 hour before being seen only to find most of my time was spent with his staff and I had about 10 minutes total with the doctor (out of 1.5 hours). While Dr. Young was willing to answer questions, he spent very little time discussing the procedure or his thoughts on potential outcomes, etc. Most of his office staff were nice and friendly. Yet none of them could directly answer general questions I had about his surgical record, patient satisfaction, etc. The main source of dissatisfaction I had was with the office manager. She was very rude and disrespectful (talked down to me, unempathetic, etc.). She was the main reason I chose not to go back.
