Dr. Victor Charles Bell, MD

I saw Dr. Bell for medication after a few therapy appointments. Told me my college goals were stupid and that I didn’t have the “drive” successful people have, prescribed me an insultingly small dose of Prozac after taking to me for 10 mintues. What a horrible first experience reaching out for mental help! Should have his license revoked, frankly. Behavioral health on wainwright was a hot mess all around at the time but he was the absolute worst person I have spoken to in 5 years of seeking mental help.

I went to Dr Bell to my ADHD medication. I left with a new diagnosis of depression. He does not talk with you but at you. He was slow to return phone calls (9 days). I left with a prescription and very little instruction about the new medication.

This doctor may have 32 years experience, however I did not see that experience during my appointment. He did not listen to a word I said. He talked over me. I would not recommend him to anyone and especially not for Child psychiatry.
