Dr Kmiecik is the best doctor I have had in years. He is very knowlegable and compassionate. As a bonus, he has a great personality as well.

Dr. Kmiecik , who was the physician for my husband and his deceased wife for many years, was asked to give a pre-surgical check for my husband. He spent most of the time chatting about sports and beer, with encouragement from my husband. (I was not there.) Ordered a few standard blood tests and assured my husband that "he would call him if anything unusual showed up." No phone call, sent report to the surgeon's office after MANY frantic, last-minute phone calls. As the anesthesiologist arrived to talk to us right before surgery, he asked us if the doctor had mentioned my husband's extremely high blood sugar. We said, "No!" It was so high that it indicated Type 2 diabetes! And the doctor had not even told us a month later! Needless to say, we immediately "fired" Dr. Kmiecik and found someone else more professional and better at communicating with his patients. When I requested my husband's records, lo and behold there was a long report of a conversation that Dr. Kmiecik supposedly had… with my husband, all about possible causes of high blood pressure and high blood sugar. This conversation never happened. It looked like a canned report.
