Thorough but rushed

Dr. Horton is an exceptional physician who is thorough and will not give up on a complex problem a patient may have. His goal and his outcome is to give the patient the finest care. He is a good listener and a caring person. I highly recommend him without reservation.

For the past 18 - 20 years I have dealt with outrageous sinus and allergy problems. I have taken antibiotics so often that I only have two or three that work anymore. I was referred to Dr. Horton my my family Dr. who is someone I trust immensely. Dr. Horton was patient, friendly and amazingly intelligent. He took the time to actually talk WITH me not at me. He did a scan and walked me step by step through the scan to explain what he saw. His staff was amazingly friendly, from check to check out I was made to feel like I had been a patient there forever! I had sinus surgery and for the FIRST time in 41 years I can actually take a good breath! I can sleep at night without waking every hour and I can play outside with my 8 year old and not be bed ridden for several days after! I will recommend Dr. Horton to everyone I know who has sinus issues, as far as I am concerned he is the #1 ENT in the eastern side of the US! Going to anyone else is a huge mistake!!

While there are some pleasant women on this staff, I have been treated so rudely by at two women that I will find a different ENT once this current issue is resolved. I should also say that while I know the name of one of the women (whom I dealt with on the phone, I do not know the name of the other woman (at check-out at UT office). For all I know, they could be one and the same. It's a shame when one person can tarnish the reputation of the whole office.)

Dr. Horton has performed two sinus surgeries on myself in the past 3 years and I am very thankful he did. I no longer suffer from chronic sinus infections and am able to live with out worrying about getting sick when spring or fall rolls around. I had many structural problems with my sinuses and now they are fixed. I am able to enjoy the outdoors more and just staying healthy thanks to him.

I went to Dr. Horton afterrt having test after test by many different physicians to try and find a problem that was obviously getting worse as time passed on. Noone else was able to accurateky diagnose my problem until Dr. Horton sat down with me, listened to what I had to say and begin teswting. Witihin tyhe time of my first office visit for this issue he had accurately diagnosed my problem and it was very sereious and life threatening. I had Stage 4 Cancer od the Throat and Tongue. He is directly responsible for saving my life and I owe him a debt of gratitude that is inexplicable. He listens to youaws a patient; which seems too be a rare trait with most of the physicians I have seen in the last several years. I would not entrust my health to anyone else at this point with regard to my Cancer. He is the most thorough and very methodical in his approach to treatment and these traits are absolutely required if there is to be a successful conclusion to any medical issue when you… go to a Doctorfor help.
