Great doctor he amazing person

When given abnormal pap results we were referred to Dorsey. He performed 2 procedures over 1 year leaving his assistant to perform 2 more. He had bad manners, was rude, and never told us birth control was causing the abnormal cells. when told we were expecting he got visibly upset. Then we left his practice. We told him we apparently knew more about his field of expertise than he did. We never returned. Had our 3rd child without his assistance, stayed off of birth control and havent had any issues now 7 years later. He may as well have held our medical records hostage. We had to contact our lawyers and eventually got the records out of his possession. He is truely a piece of garbage, who abuses his job for his own pleasure.

Dorsey delivered my son 27 yrs ago. Back then he was in practice behind the Dayton mall. Back then he was a complete different human being. I have been seeing ever since until this last visit and I will not be back again. I have seen over the years him change and not for the good. This last visit did me in on him. I went there for a lump inside my vagina. He said he didn't feel it and I was good. I never got my reaults back from my pap. He didn't want to hear what I had to say nor did he want to talk about the issues. Rushed me out. To top it all off when I made that appt the office said I was not in their system. I was dumbfounded. So after that appt I went to a female obgyn in springboro. Nice lady. She had nothing good to say about Dorsey. She said she knows he rushes his patients thru like cattle and going after the big dollar. She said she has many women comin from his office looking for a new doctor. Well this lady did say she felt the thing I was talking about... she said Dorsey… should have caught that. She said it was my bladder collapsing my vagina. Well here to find out they was both wrong but at least this lady doctor sent me to another specialist that said they was both wrong. And they both should have figured it out instantly. It was my muscle in my outer area of my vagina that was building due to lack of hormones. Dorsey did not want to put me on hormones. But this specialist was in shock that Dorsey didn't take the time to listen to my complaints. She said a red flag should have told him exactly what was going on. From this point on I will never ever go back to him. I know years ago right after my son was born there was Dorsey in the news for women saying things about him. I didn't not want to believe this and still continued to go to him but I always made sure my ex at the time was in the room with me. But with all this said his bedside manners have went to the toilet. He did a botched job on my hysterectomy according to another obgyn that had to do the other half. And not to mention both my ovaries exploded due to as Dorsey words were "doctor them up " doc Bryant said they should have been removed and a full hysterectomy should have been done. I feel Dorsey did this knowing this and hoping I would return for the other half thru him instead I ended up 35 and in the hospital in emergency surgery cause of this. Still I went back to Dorsey but this last time was enough for me. Never ever go to this man for anything. I can't believe I would ever switch obgyn but it's beyond time for this nightmare to end. If you are a mother and wanting to send your young daughter to him don't do it. Find a down to earth doc or one that listens and explains. Women should not feel the way this man is making women feel. There is so much I could share but I think I got my point across. I would love to talk to any one about this matter. If he reads this I know he will know who I am. And to be frank I don't care. All I can say to him is shame on you and you have turned into a doctor I am imbarrased about. I guess the mask is being revealed by you showing your true colors.

I went to see Dr. Dorsey about a year ago. I have been a patient there for 4ish years and last year was my first pap. I had to wait for an hour and a half for him to see me. Then when I was called back and in the middle of changing/ taking off my clothes he just opened the door without knocking. About 4 other nurses saw me naked. I brought a list of questions for him and he just blew me off. He acted like he just wanted to get me out of there. He also said he was going to do a couple other tests that he never did and I never got the results for. This year I tried to call back to get a refill on my birth control until my next visit (which they never do btw) and I spent 2 hours on the phone with a nurse who could not even find my name in the system. I then had to call the record keeping company to see if they had my records, even though the office should have taken care it. I have had nothing but problems with these people. DONT GO.

Dr Dorsey delivered my daughter. He was excellent then, I trusted him and I had an easy pregnancy. I also had a pretty easy delivery. 3 years later I went back to him with pelvic pain and other abnormal symptoms and he was not as great. He insisted that the pap would tell him what it is so I trusted him. 3&1/2 weeks later I got a call to schedule a culposcopy. They didn't explain it and neither did he. It was rescheduled twice. My family dr explained the procedure and reason for the procedure to me. Even after the culposcopy he didn't discuss results in much detail, he did schedule another pap for 6months out. I guess that means all clear but I still have the same symptoms as I had before the culposcopy so I don't think the problem was solved at all. He said it was birth control related but I wasn't on birth control when the symptoms started and they remained unchanged on it. He didn't welcome conversation about personal concerns. I plan to have more children after I get married next… year and he loves to deliver babies, and he's good at that, but he will not be delivering any more of my kids if I can have anymore.

Love!! Dr Dorsey.. He cares about his patients very much and has a great bed side manner.. Dr Dorsey delivered my first baby by c- section and did a wonderful job I had no issues after the procedure.. He also came to check up on me during my 3 day recovery.

He is the best doctor I've ever had. I have had a very complicated pregnancy and he has put my mind at ease in a way that no other doctor has.

I absolutely LOVED Dr Dorsey !!! Although I saw him in 2000 he may have changed ... Doubt it ... He was excellent , had me transferred from SouthView to Miami Valley so my twins could be born at their Nicu ... I went into labor @ 23 weeks & had my babies @ 25 weeks ... He was in room everyday several times checking on me ... Absolutely would recommend him !!! ����

I think DrDorsey is a great doctor. He did my hysterectomy.He knows what he's doing. I would just advise you to have your questions and concerns written down or rehearsed at your time of visit... He's a specialist and rightly so.. He focuses on the issue.

No compassion for patients. Did not even bring up procedure performed on last visit. Ignored symptoms and health history. Gave no follow up info on test results. Rushed patient through visit visit...from entering door to exiting door was 11 minutes. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
